Good morning, everyone!
Welcome to all newcomers to our lovely group 👋👋👋
monna congratulations on reaching your target 👏👏👏
Well done all losers and STSers 👏👍👏
Commiserations to gainers 😢
Weighing in: STS this week. Which since I had coffee and cake in a garden with one group of friends, and lunch out with another, is probably not to be wondered at. Plus most of a large bunch of grapes between Thursday afternoon and Friday evening (yes, they’re fruit but oops! they’re high in sugar).
Yesterday I ate: B : bacon & eggs; L : oatmeal with milk & hg alpine strawberries; D : sausages, aubergine & courgette followed by blackberries & apple (no sugar) with yogurt; S : cherry tomatoes (every time I passed the bowl), the last of the grapes, and a satsuma.
Today’s plan:
B : porridge with hg alpine strawberries,
D : grilled pork leg steak, cabbage, hg beans if there are enough; strawberries & yogurt
T : smoked salmon salad
Onwards and downwards! Have a good week everyone!“Tomorrow is another day for decluttering.”Decluttering 2023 🏅🏅🏅🏅⭐️⭐️

WI 2 lb loss
I have started watching programs/reality shows about weight loss, it keeps me from eating in the evenings. There is a big time gap between my lunch and dinner and I find it hard to stick to a healthy snack that will fill me up till dinner. Any ideas?8 -
Good morning everyone
Just popping on to record a STS. I am a bit disappointed to be honest but at least it's not a gain.
Welcome to all you lovely new posters too, I hope you enjoy being part of this fabulous friendly group.
I am sorry I haven't been posting but I have been in the doldrums and didn't think I had anything worthwhile to say. I feel a bit better now so I have decided to flex my typing fingers.
I am so pleased you have a new puppy Molly, she looks absolutely adorable. My westie is getting old now and is a bit of a grumpy old man but I love him loads.
hanert, my favourite sandwich is peanut butter and marmite mixed together, absolutely delicious.
I am so pleased to 'see' you all, you are all doing so well whether you have lost, gained or stayed the same just by the fact you are posting about your day and encouraging each other. I was reading along even though I couldn't join in and it helped me so much.
Keep on going, we will all get there in our own time, take care xx

Ooops, forgot to mention my main source of carbs will be veg, salad and low sugar fruit. Had a look at Atkins and Keto but I love veg and fruit too much to restrict or give it up completely, I respect anyone who does though.
Will be adding slow cooked chicken to my list of culinary delights, doesn't generate any heat like the oven so ideal in the summer. Cat was sitting hopefully in front of the oven for the last hour - he could obviously smell the delicious aroma, just got the location wrong!!.
Good luck for the week ahead everyone.8 -
Hi all, and welcome to all newbies. You will find that this is a really supportive forum. It has certainly kept me going.
I have somehow managed to consign another 1 lb to history.
Monnagran, thank you for your advice about telling yourself you don't want it etc. I have been practising this and so far it has stopped me going off-piste 3 times.
Next week will be a tough challenge but I will go for it. I would like to be 12:8 or less by the end of August. Fortunately, my OH is talking about us doing some walks whilst we are away so if I'm good I may manage it.
I hope you all have a good week and we lose a few more lbs between us.

So this is just my full second day. I'm enjoying reading all your posts and hope I'll pick up some tips. You all seem to know so much.
Today's menu (which I'm sure is very boring to everybody but it's helping me track what I'm eating. If you think I'm doing something "wrong" please let me know. I'd really appreciate it.
Breakfast - Pear, strawberries and blueberries
Lunch - Salad made with two thin slices of gammon (from the butcher). leaves, tomatoes, cucumber and spring onions. (Low calorie salad dressing).
Dinner - Goulash in slow cooker. (made with beef, tomato, red pepper, onion and a spice mix that I have). We'll have it with rice.
Since it's Sunday I'm allowing myself a gin with low calorie tonic. I really enjoy a gin and tonic. Is it OK ? I thought it might be better if I factored that in rather than deny myself and start bingeing on chocolate or something.
I did intend to go for a walk but it's really quite grey and miserable so hopefully tomorrow.
Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.8 -

👏👏 well done Monna on reaching your target again
and all others for STS or losing lbs
Sandy a STS is great with all the stress of moving house, I remember that feeling of 'have I done the right thing' the last time I moved, it's when the light goes out
15 years on and I still have no regrets but it took a few weeks to settle in and the house to feel like home
TF your food doesn't look boring and looks very healthy, I've been known to have the odd G&T myself (some great local gin near me 🙂) if I feel I should be good I have it with slimline tonic but prefer something like F Tree. It's less calories than wine or beer. The trick I think is no food or drink should be nothing banned just eat and drink in moderation
Molly treat Bonnie like a baby and sleep when she does 🙂 you're lose your enjoyment of her if she makes you ill, remind those men of yours that they can help out a bit more in the short term
Dumpling glad you're feeling a bit better now, we miss you
Marion the furry PITA I live with is the first cat I've had who doesn't like human food my last two could hear the fridge door open from two gardens away if it contained cold chicken 🙂
I had been very good but I was invited for a Chinese takeaway last night for my nephews' birthday, I ordered healthy options and then had the 'naughty' stuff the others ordered 🙄 also a small piece of chocolate birthday cake. First takeaway in about a year other than fish &chips a couple of times so 2am this morning I was looking for the indigestion tabletsback to the straight and narrow today.
Breakfast - pineapple and melon
Lunch - beef salad
Dinner - LO beef and vegetablesLife shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin7 -

Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.8 -
Turns out that I needed a day of slacking today, so didn't swim, made pancakes for brunch and had rye and stilton for a snack. I'm not stuffing myself, but I think I am having a ... I think I have run out of will power day today and I'm sure I'll be fine tomorrow, so Im just resting and trying to keep it to a small slip day :-)
