Hello x
Interested re the air fryer - considering buying one - will have a think!
I had a better day yesterday - still ate way too much but enjoyed it at least and find writing it down makes me think and more accountable.
We get our new puppy tomorrow which Im looking forward immensely. We have been waiting for her for over a year although I don't know what Molly doggy will think of her!!
She is a west highland terrier and absolutely gorgeous - We are in love. Our lives will be turned upside down for a while but hoping it will help me as I will be busy running (well wobbling) after her!!
Time for a cuppa - keep on keeping on xxI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.7 -
Hi
Hello to the newly joined. Well done losers, sts-ers and commiserations on gains. Congratulations dumpling and ttb on reaching your quarterly targets. How exciting Molly 🐾 I’d love a dog but travel too much (well used to travel!) plus I’m allergic. One day though.
Weighday for me -1/2lb please Brambling.
I’m another who’s been eying up air fryers recently. Many lower carb recipes seem to use them. I don’t like eating very crispy food ( broke a tooth once ) so I don’t know why I’m considering one really.
Take care all.

Good Morning All,
I've been well and truly kicked off the wagon over the last week. Far too much sugar, no routine or exercise to speak of and very little cooking going on so my meal plans have gone to pot. Line drawn under it all and I shall climb aboard again today. Hoping the cooler weather helps.
Meal Plan:
B -Porridge and bits
L- Tofu and bombay potato greens, beans and naan
D - hummus salad sarnie with purple cabbage sauerkraut
P-gs porridge.
I never thought I would look forward to grey skies and rain!

I was whisked away last weekend for a birthday treat to Whitby. Although I was marching (puffing?) up and down the 199 steps from above the Abbey where we were sited, and also up and down cliffs to the beach, the food offerings were just too tempting and I know I have put on quite a few pounds but will check in on Sunday which is my WI day. I was drinking a lot of zero alcohol beer in the heat and I don't think that helped much. I think we might be away overnight this weekend but hoping it's Sunday to give me a chance to make amends before the next WI. OH's birthday next week, so another lunch out. I will then be off to my daughter's the following week so a lot of challenges! It's certainly cooler now so it should be easier to get on with things and burn all those nasty calories. Well done to all of you who are doing so well and make the most of the easier temperatures to do all those tasks you have been putting off.Solar Suntellite 250 x16 4kW Afore 3600TL dual 2KW E 2KW W no shade, DN15 March 14

Hello All
I'm checking in with a disappointing sts I am a little miffed as I have behaved myself this week.It is no cooler here, we had about 5 minutes rain at the front of the house yesterday but not the back 😂 no thunder storms either. I am just off to Sainsbury's to pick up a clothing order for ds (uniform) so the walk will be my exercise for the day.
Well done everyone on the losses, it is challenge in this heat as I can't even bare to think of exercise as there is no air, I think the heat is ballooning me hence no weight loss, is that a thing?, any how that's my excuse.
Todays meals
L chicken noodle soup which is lo from Tuesday

Hi everybody - am now thinking about looking into air 'fryers or dryers'.
Got back on track with my 5k's this morning, a bit of a slug, but at least it happened after a very placid day yesterday in front of the screen.

I would miss my air fryer but will say if you are buying the ones with baskets are better than the ones with just a trivet, my sister brought a cheap one with a trivet and doesn't use it that much. They do often appear in sales or there are usually good deals for black Friday mine was brought with my electric pressure cooker when Tesco direct online closed and were both very cheap in their closing down sale - very MSE I do find it is better than putting the oven on just for me and makes jacket potatoes which taste like oven ones as well as great for keeping pastry crisp (i know i shouldn't be eating pastry based products )
We will need pictures of the puppy Molly
You're allowed to fall off the wagon for birthday and weekends away Living_Proof, hopefully you had a good time, I've never been to Whitby
It's been a busy hot week but after yesterdays 10 minute storm and I think light rain over night it is definitely so much cooler at the moment so I'm looking forward to the weekend although the weeds will need tackling whilst I can hopefully pull them up and the ground isn't so hard
Lunch was cheese, crackers and an apple. Dinner is still undecided but I have also picked some peas (planted late) and i may make a asparagus and pea risotto to make the most of the cooler weather I also have some runner beans to use

I'm tempted by the small air fryer ouraggie. I really don't have room for any more gadgets on the work tops and living in a bungalow means that I have no handy understair cupboard. I'll think about it. My WI day tomorrow. The excitement is unbearable!I believe that friends are quiet angels
