Morning lovely people 🙂
I'm declaring a 1lb loss please Brambling.
Todays food is:
Apple nuts feta for lunch,
Chicken in tomato sauce with courgettes and runner beans. Banana and yogurt (I know... boring but it helps me to commit)
Well, the gardens are getting a good wetting here ☂️. This morning we are stewing and preserving windfall apples. We usually do 50 odd jars but last year dad was away a lot so we missed a year which was a waste.
Have a good Sunday everyone. 💛💙

Well done Blue & TTB 👏👏
grey day today with a rain storm just after lunch which means I don't have to waterbut I will have to weed
the cat was cross with me as it seems it's my fault if it's raining out of both doors and he bit me hard on my arm, luckily not enough to draw blood but he's still in time out over it 🙀
i used the day to tidy the kitchen and to cook 👩🍳 mainly with courgettesI missed one which grew to the size of a small marrow and threatened to compost it as I'm on courgette overload, my nephew said I couldn't waste food so I took it around there, my sister isn't amused as she has six of her own in her fridge
she reminded me she has a key to mine so it might come back
Because I was cooking I wasn't that interested in eating other than sampling I did have a small piece of lasagna and I may sample a piece of cake later I made two courgette and carrot cakes another one for my freezer and I'll take one next door to my neighbour who mows my lawn, he's a widower who cooks the basics for himself and doesn't bake so it's a fair swap 🙂
Have a good week 🙂Life shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin6 -

Thank you for the interesting article about keeping 20% lower calories to maintain weight and the links (I didn't manage to reply earlier). I imagine that at some point our body adjusts and then we should be able to eat like the rest of the people in our weight? No?? Or did I miss something?
I have recently been eating a "normal" amount of calories in the hope the weight will come off very slightly. At first I got (a lot) fatter, but seem to have slowly turned a corner and now it appears to be coming off little by little.
My plan is to just continue on a long term healthy calorie/nutrients amount, and if I stick at a weight fatter than I would like, I will jolly well learn to like it!
Another pound off this week.

Waiting for Bonnie to settle before I go to bed. Im shattered but she has had a good first day so very happy. She is already using the puppy pads regularly with only one accident so fingers crossed it continues. DH has already gone to bed - it's like having a baby again.
Food wise - been pretty good today so please with that. Continuing with food diary and finding it very enlightening. Right Bonnie settled so time for some sleep xxI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.7 -
I was off sick with a cold last week but on the plus side I lost 900 g/1.98 lbs and I’m now 2 kg off my cap weight. Yay!
