Hello everyone. It is great to see that everyone is doing so well.
It has been a hideous struggle but I have managed to lose THREE POUNDS this month.
The plan for today is Roast pork, mash, green beans, sprouts, gravy, and later on, ham butty, apples, grapes.12 -
Hi folks.
Just want to report a 2 lb loss recorded on my scales this morning, two days ahead of scheduled weigh in but want to share the joy!13 -
Afternoon All,
I hope that nobody's melted in this heat!!
ditty Well done on the loss and reaching the halfway point of your target. Best of luck with your new work pattern, with the 1 hour commute each way as well it doesn't sound like much fun.
SandyShores Well done for the STS and hopefully the doughnut weight will drop off as quickly as it went on. I can understand not wanting to run at the moment, it's too hot even for walking!!
TTB Congratulations on another impressive loss and well done for getting to 80% of your target.
Molly Sorry for the belated wishes but I'm glad you had a good birthday. Well done for getting back on the scales and I'm glad that you're focusing on the fact that you've enjoyed everything.
Sirens Well done for the loss and I hope you've recovered from the shopping trip with your daughter.
Dumpling Wow, that's an impressive loss! Well done for reaching your target so quickly.
monnagran Well done for the loss and I hope you enjoyed spending time with your son, even if it did mean you had to do dreaded housework.
Brambling I know what you mean about it being too hot to eat, fish and chips at the seaside sounds good though.
sn1987a I think working out what you should eat for maintenance is a struggle for a lot of people. About the only time I manage to stay the same weight is when I'm trying to lose it
Blue Doggy Well done on the STS and I can sympathise with how much easier it is to put on weight than lose it.
Mrs Salad Dodger If I think I'm hungry having a glass of water and waiting 5 minutes is often enough to stop me eating. I do sometimes end up feeling rather gluggy though
lapis_lazuli Well done for the loss, it doesn't matter how small they are it's still heading in the right direction
debbiedodge Welcome to the group and well done for staying the same weight through trying various diets, I normally end up heavier than I started...
Chloris Well done for the STS and I hope you had a good birthday.
zippy Well done on the loss and I hope you enjoy your lunch out
Honey Well done for the loss and I hope it made the struggle seem worthwhile.
LittleVoice Well done for the loss, especially ahead of schedule.
Well, I'm slightly annoyed but weighing in with a STS this week. I know it's better than a gain but it's slightly disheartening when I've done everything right and the weight's still not budging. I'm quite pleased with myself though for not dealing with it my usual way and eating everything in sight. I figure that if I carry on eating healthily then it should start to shift soon and, if it doesn't, I'll have to start being ridiculously detailed in tracking what I'm eating.
Best of luck and stay safe everyone xx13 -

Life shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin11 -
Well done all the losers and STSs some great numbers again. TTB congratulations on smashing your target especially considering the treatments
Welcome to the challenge DebbieDodge
Back to work today, I really hated the sound of the alarm clock this morning especially as the heat means I'm not sleeping very well, i'm generating my own power surges without the external heat wave. I also needed to drop the cat at the vet early as he was having his teeth cleaned due to gingivitis, he came home after lunch ate two sachets of food, removed the bandage from his paw and has been sleeping on the table all afternoon whilst I've worked I don't think I'm the only one finding it too hot. He was also a little wobbly.
Lunch was fruit and yoghurt and a fake magnum. Dinner should be sea bass, runner beans, asparague and new potatoes but if it doesn't get any cooler the sea bass will end up in the freezer and it will be salad again

Thank you for the encouragement, this thread really keeps me going. I'm struggling at the moment with being overloaded at work and trying fruitlessly to at least get management to acknowledge why; and also with DD finalising a move back home. Its definitely the right thing for her to do because of Covid, but its hard dealing with the transition. You are all keeping me focussed though, so although I'm not totally on top of it all, I'm not giving up. This heat is so tiring as well and I'm definitely not drinking enough water - that's my target tomorrowMortgage 31May est. £183,500 £244,947, Ends Jan'38 Jun'39 (target Feb'31)

WI Brambling - 1/2 gain please and thank you
Good Morning All,
Absent for a week! I've been too busy all week and haven't had any down time to drop in and record my meals. So a quick congrats to all you losers and Stsers, welcome aboard everyone who is new and commiserations to me as I appear to be the only gainer
No surprise really. Last week's weight loss was a stress induced one which obviously then turned into a sugar binge, in fact I'm surprised it isn't more. I am home now for the next 5 days which is the longest I've managed to get home since the beginning of lock down. After such a busy time I really needed a break so I'm hoping that I can get myself back on track for next week. I've not been able to run or do much walking as my knees have been really painful (I don't think the sugar helps with inflammation either) so I'm having to reduce my food intake quite drastically as the exercise enabled me to eat an additional 500 calories and still lose weight. This is the reason I originally started to gain weight as I had to stop running due to injury a couple of years ago but still had the same appetite. I'm going to try just two meals today and see how I feel with that.
Meal Plan:
B- porridge and bits
S - not sure yet.
D- greens dal and chapati
P- GS porridge
Enjoy the last of the hot weatherNN8 -
Morning, its rainy here and hot, the best of both worlds!!
Todays lunch is my current fave; celery and feta 25g mixed nuts 25g.
Dinner is set aside meatballs in tomato sauce with various greens. Yogurt with cinnamon and half a banana to use it up. (My menus are boring too, but it commits me if I post them!)
Have a good day everyone☂️🌺A bit of grin and bear it, a bit of come and share it
You're welcome we can spare it, yellow socks9 -

Hello x
Well done to those that have lost or STS x
Nananibbles - commiserations - I have gained but can't face the purple devils, so you are not the only one xx
Im plodding on! Another sick day steroids today so struggling with hunger. have to keep telling myself its a trick of the body!!!
I didnt do too well yesterday so going to try hard today.
I'm now writing down my food and drink intake. I want to see where I keep going wrong. It's also to get into the habit of keeping a food diary again as have been referred to Eating Disorder Services again - really want to tackle it again!!
Anyway have a good if hot day - drink lots of water xx
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.10
