Morning All
Well what an awful nights sleep, the heat was too much, I was also so sore after going in every shop yesterday looking with dd for clothes and shoes for college, then carrying it all home, I've just come in from the garden where there is no breeze but it's cooler than the house.
Weighing in with a small loss ofΒ -1lb I've been see-sawing all week between 0-2lb, it's funny how different weight can be from one day to the next.
Glad your chemo went okayΒ tttb.

I am absolutely ecstatic to have lost 6lb this week. I don't deserve it as there has been a lot of mindless munching going on but my body certainly works in weird and wonderful ways sometimes.Β
I have been making a lot of recipes from the Slimming World website and most of them have been really nice apart from the diet cola chicken which I thought I would 'improve' by adding a couple of chopped up red chillies. It nearly blew our heads off and we needed to drink a lot of milk afterwards to stop our mouths being on fire.
Today's menu looks like this:
b - porridge with golden syrup
l - chicken noodle soup
dΒ -beef and bean hotpot with broccoli
s - fruit

Dumpling you've reached your target(no emoji on the laptop to celebrate) I have doubled chilli food more than once and it doesn't help if you have LO as it matures in the fridge.Β Β
It's too blooming hot today and I agreed to work for a couple of hours late afternoon which due to IT issues seems to be stretching to half the evening I'm stuck twiddling my thumbs until 8pm now whilst we wait for the system to updateΒΒ I don't do well in this heat and i also get grumpy due to lack of sleep so I'm biting my tongueΒ
Food wise it's been too hot to eat much, i did succumb to fish and chips at the beach on Thursday the first in over a year and they were very niceat least I have had fruit or salad the last couple of days. I have tandoori chicken in the oven at the moment which I will eat with some salad once i finish workΒ

tighteningthebeltΒ I was shocked toΒ read that I may have to eat 20% less than people with the same weight that never had to diet to maintain my weight. How do I calculate how many calories I should eat? Nhs doesn't give any numbers once you have a healthy weight.Β

Morning all!Β
Brambling please put me down for a 3.5lb loss this week. Thank you. It's been very up and down this week maybe because of the steroids they give with the chemo. It also takes me to the milestone of having lost 80% of what I have to lose which is very encouraging. It's taken nearly a year.Β
I think we are having meatballs withΒ greens tonight from the fast 800 book. It will be banana and yogurt again because the bananas are going brown all at once! I might have porridge for lunch because I fancy it. I'll edit if I change my mind!Β

Lots to catch up on, so canβt namecheck all. I havenβt posted for a while, all my meals have been much the same as for the last several months, no aberrations or episodes of gluttony this last week, as dittyΒ said, anyone whoβs been reading my menus must be pretty bored with them by now!.
