Zippy the children of a friend of mine used a Spanish variation for their Spanish grandmother and use to like it being different, their English granddad was grandpa
I'm also on staycation this week, my first time off this year, the plan is to get some gardening and decluttering done as well as going out and about. My sister and I when to a factory art shop this morning, she's more arty than me but I did pick up a few bits. It was half way to the beach and my sister has loan of a beach hut so we had a picnic lunch and a lazy afternoon, I've manage a tan which isn't red, I usually pay a lot of money to stay white as I burn so easy

Hello x
Hope those on staycation have a relaxing time x
Well we arrived ok and settled in so relaxing we are at Centre parcs so know what to expect. Its lovely to be away and everywhere is so clean and well regulated.
Molly doggy is keeping me awake atm as she is old and doesn't like change to her routine so wandering around very noisily. I stayed quite good yesterday although have a few treats so hopefully not too much damage done.
Hope you have a good day xxI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.12 -
Well done to everyone who sts or lost weight!
It's 1 lb holiday gain for meI hope to lose it next week.

Brambling WI 2lb loss please and thank you
Good Morning All,
A really quick post as before I start running around like a headless chicken! I have too many commitments and too much to get done today so I shall just scoot by here. I suspect the weight loss is temporary thanks to divorce stress, a hot bath, and eating a salad for dinner at 4pm rather than my hefty meals but hey, I'll take it for this weekFor today only, I am 2 and a half pounds away from my target (dancing a little jig)
Meal Plan:
B - porridge and bits
S - one limp piece of melon left
L - courgette pea and mint fritters that I made from the garden along with new potatoes, pesto and salad (from the garden)
S - figs and cashews
D- whatever limp stuff is hanging out in the fridge
P - GS porridge (have taken to adding some peanut butter and actual golden syrup to this so must curb this habit).
Well done to all losers, STSers and those who may have gained a little, just for sticking around. Happy holidays and staycations, keep up the running challenges and exercises - it releases those feel good hormones. Happy grandma-ing (Nana for me - I'm far too young to be a grannie!).

Morning Losers.
Sorry to be missing for the past few days, I've had no internet since Friday. Which means that I missed WI on Saturday. Which was probably a very good thing, and that's all I'm saying.
Congratulations on the new arrival Ziggy. I guess you will be stuck with whatever they choose to call you. I have an autistic grandson and the nearest he could get to 'grandma' was Monna. Which explains my username and what the world and his wife now calls me. I've had meetings with people on mse, and they all start by calling me by my name and after 5 minutes say, "I can't call you Joy, you will always be Monna." I've learned to live with it.
Have a good day everyone on starvation (there's Freudian slip for you. I typed s t a y c a t I o n .) We are threatened promised a heatwave later in the week.
I suppose you are waiting for me to tell you what I've been eating. Hard luck.
I have however, found you a new point to ponder.
My favourite exercise is between a lunge and a crunch. I call it lunch.I believe that friends are quiet angels

NN oooh that's close to your target, exciting!!!
Keep on keeping on sn1987a we've all been there
Today is pizza day for me, I'm having a thin crust one with tuna, anchovies and black olives. I'll have some feta and an apple midday. Tomorrow and Thursday I will fast, chemo Friday also fasting, eat again Saturday teatime. That's the plan.
Have a lovely day everybody 💛🐥A bit of grin and bear it, a bit of come and share it
You're welcome we can spare it, yellow socks9 -
I weighed in on Sunday and can advise another 3lb loss. This is the last day of green smoothies and from now on it's 2 smoothies and one light meal each day. Yesterday marked our first meal out since lockdown and we went for a curry which was lovely, one of the best ever, but no doubt the weight gain will register during the next few days. Having said that, I won't be home so won't weigh myself until my return and just hope there is plenty of suitably healthy food to eat whilst I am at my daughters for a few days. I will do my best not to keep treating myself! Well done to everyone who is losing steadily, and STS is better than a kick in the jacksie. Sending positive vibes to anyone finding it difficult and I hope you all have a successful week and still enjoy what you are eating.
