Hi
Well done losers and sts.
Weigh day for me -1lb please Brambling ( this does not include the 1lb I gained and lost during the week ).
I didn’t get on yesterday, was an active day and I was shattered when I got in. Breakfast was a repeat of Thursday, lunch a cottage cheese and salami salad followed by berries and yoghurt and dinner was a small bowl of deconstructed chicken fajitas, I wasn’t overly hungry but still managed a little chocolate.
Today’s menu
Breakfast: overnight peanut butter oats with all the toppings; coffee with cream x2.
Lunch: cottage cheese and Parma ham salad.
Dinner: baked cod and cherry tomatoes with broccoli. Choc chia pudding with red currents.
Laters: milk chocolate and fizzy water.
Take care all.

Morning All
Well done on your loss dumpling and your amazing news, definitely deserve to celebrate
Congratulations Zippy on the new grandchild and welcome living proof
Sorry I have been a little absent but the week seems to have flown by, work was much as usual and yesterday I cut the grass and tackled some of the brambles coming from next doors garden, or rather they tackled me, I did manage to get a bowlful of very sweet blackberries as well as the scratches, so it was an even fight. Was going to take dd shopping to get some new clothes but she has caught a cold, not sure how as she hasn't left the house much since April! Anyway we shall go next week.
I have been behaving myself since my last weigh in and am delighted with my loss of -2lb, half of what I gained last week, I have decided to weigh in on Fridays instead now as I'm hoping it will help me with will power over the weekend as that's always my biggest struggle.
xx

Amazing news dumpling, great weight loss!
Too many temptations yesterday, I won't even write what I ate! I walked 3.5 miles, which I am not used to. I hope it's enough to balance the extra calories.
Have a nice day everyone!8 -

Today looks like super Friday
so many positive weigh ins today and great news Dumpling
well done all you loosers and STSs
Fingers crossed CR that your DHs review isn't too upsetting, there always seems to be a long wait after they advise you they are doing a review
I know one shouldn't complain but it's too hot today, I'm missing the office air conand not helped by me putting the oven on to make a courgette and carrot cake (I plan to freeze it in slices and hopefully will stick to that plan
) The cat came in and flopped on the table beside me panting as he's gotten too hot I tried to check his pads as the patio is too hot for me to walk on bare foot but got bitten for my pains
he's now laying on the bathmat on the bathroom tiled floor - daft creature
I had new dishwasher delivered his morning two lovely guys who had problems due to the way the kitchen fitters installed the last one, but both were big men and it was hot in my kitchen as the morning sun comes in so I'm a littleat the thought of all that sweat (sorry FYI) and kitchen has had a good wipe down.
B - FF greek yoghurt and berries
L - nothing as I wasn't hungry
D - Ratatouille with white fish kiev and runner beans
S - one slice of cake before I freeze itLife shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin10 -
Good morning everyone
It is going to be another scorcher today so I have already made dinner for tonight and it is simmering away on the stove for another half an hour driving the dogs mad as it is a chicken tagine. I got the recipe from the Slimming World website and people have left positive reviews for it so I am hopeful. It certainly smells tasty anyway. The food got away from me a bit yesterday as I ended up eating pizza for lunch as my friend wanted to order a takeaway for all of us and because I am a bit stressed and very weak willed I had some. It was delicious though so I don't regret it too much.I did have a big salad for dinner though so hopefully it will have clawed back some calories.
My meals today are as follows:
b - porridge and a banana if they are not too mushy
l - ham salad wrap and a packet of crisps
d - chicken, sweet potato and butternut squash tagine with cauliflower rice
s - melon and orange
If I stick to this I will have definitely had my 5 a day. I hope you all have a great day, take care xx

Good Morning All,
Missing in action again, too busy too hot and too tired
I've had a busy couple of days working and have been asked to stay on an extra 2 days so I won't be finishing until Monday, which is a bit of a pain as I wanted to go home for a few days before I go back to DD's I've barely been back home for over 4 months now and I desperately need a break, it will have to wait for another week.
I've been in a bit of emotional turmoil over the last few days due to my divorce proceedings as my husband determined to cause me as much pain as possible all the way to the bitter end. I have 11 days before the Decree Absolute can be submitted and then if things go my way another couple of weeks until it is issued but he is doing everything in his power to prevent this. This is making me anxious and sleepless which is having a major knock on effect with my weight loss. I'm feeling too tired to run in the morning and too anxious to eat the right sort of food so I'm snacking on sugary foods as and when I feel up to it. I'm not over eating just not the right sort of food and I'm still walking a good 8 miles every day, so I'm not going to beat myself up about it.
Enough of the self pity. I am a Strong Independent Woman and I won't be torn down again!
On a positive note I am now pre Lockdown Lardy weight and after a sneaky weigh in the other morning I got down to my target stone (just need to drop a few pounds to be target weight) though I am back up again this morning. Well done to some impressive weight losses guys - I think my fat must be liquifying and being sweated out! TTB - I love your positive attitude throughout your illness. For those of you with aches and pains and forms of arthritis it must be so frustrating that it interferes with your ability to exercise. I have peripheral neuropathy down my left side which can make walking uncomfortable but if anything sitting is more of a problem which is why I walk as much as I do though I think I may need to rest up with my exercise a little more as I'm starting to get aches in my knees. Goodness me I'm droning on! Let me get to the point
Meal Plan:(smorgasbord left overs)
B - porridge and bits
S - melon
L - greens, beans tofu and naan
S - Melon
D - greens beans tofu and new pots (parp!)
P - golden syrup porridge
Enjoy the cooler weather

Morning all!
NN That's the trouble with ex husbands, they know you so well they know exactly how to hurt you. Not long now before he will be in your rear view mirror.
I'm having a bottle of sol and a bag of crisps in my friends garden this evening.
Celery and 25g feta for lunch.
Chicken in a tomato sauce for dinner, with courgette and green beans. No dessert.
I'm pre declaring a pizza from the local restaurant on Tuesday evening. That's a blow out before my next fasting days. I'll go thin crust. I've been fancying it for about 5 weeks which (in my mind) is enough of a lag to be virtuous!! Honestly, the deals we do ourselves 🙄🤣
Have a lovely day everyone. 🌻
A bit of grin and bear it, a bit of come and share it

Good morning all,
I have another STS to report from yesterday. I'm exercising, counting calories, eating healthy food and salad instead of beige food and still nothing happens. I'm not sure what else I need to do. This is why I gave up going to slimming world. When you do everything right and nothing happens, it sounds like just making excuses. When I was younger and had PCOS I sort of understood why I found it so hard to lose weight but after the menopause I thought that things /hormones might have changed a bit.
I did measure the HT and myself yesterday for the first time since the 1st of June. I've lost 2 inches from my waist and an inch from the other places that I measure. The HT has lost an inch from his waist. I'm pleased with the measurements but it would be good to see a reduction in my weight too.
Take care all of you11
