Hi Losers,
Dear Bloggy, I have a Magnum (full size) lurking in my freezer for a reward when I have lost my first stone. It's still there! Which is more than can be said for the rum and raisin Carte D'Or. Such a useful empty box to put things in.I believe that friends are quiet angels

I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.10 -
Hi everyone, may I join you please? I have already started a green smoothie regimen last week and have lost five pounds so far. Could you kindly put me down for 20lb by the end of the quarter? Including the five I have already lost. I eat a plant-based diet in any case so I am just cutting out carbs really, apart from those in fruit. Next week I will have two smoothies a day and one small salad-type meal and see where that goes. I do a lot of walking but have just found out I have osteoarthritis in my feet and it may be a bit more challenging to get exercise. I have enjoyed reading all your stories, and Monna, my favourite tub is a blue Lidl vanilla one at least 20 years old!

Welcome to the group Living_Proof I have added you to the chart and included your 5lb loss so far. I can sympathise with the osteoarthritis in your feet, I've long given up on nice shoes with a decent heel(or any heel) because of it
Mollyyou weigh in if and when you want to or not at all if that's best for you
we are happy to see you just post
Blue we weren't given a choice we all had to learn the recorder at primary school and i was jealous of those who could play it and went on to the tenor recorders. We were expected to play it by reading music and i was always behind every one as the music teacher wouldn't let me pencil in the notes on the music sheets and by the time i 'Every Good Boy Deserves Fudge' and I think there was a FACE?? the rest of the class where way aheadI hope you enjoyed the magnums
I'm only reporting a STS this week which is better than a gain but I would have liked to have lost the 2 I put on last week. Maybe I should wear a mask permanently so to stop me stuffing my face
B- Banana and raspberries
L - chicken/salad wrap - Edit i'd eaten all the wraps so lunch will be chicken salad
D - ????? I've cold lamb left and plenty of vegetables so probably similar to last night
S - grapes, maybe a fibre one brownie but i'm trying to avoid snacks other than fruit and veg as it seems I can't just have the one

Afternoon All,
Gingerlily I also find cashews way too easy to munch my way through, that's partly why you're far more likely to find pine nuts in my cupboard as I'm better at only using them as an ingredient
Brambling Well done on the STS. I know that they can be disappointing sometimes but if we all keep plodding on we'll get there eventually. I hope the cat's feeling okay today and that the neighbour's daughter decides that playing indoors is a much better option
monnagran My mum used to use ice cream tubs for storing all kinds of things. I think they've still got a couple, which must be 30-40 years old now, in place of a cutlery holder in the kitchen drawer
ditty I hope it wasn't too late a night. The mexican rice and halloumi sounds lovely
nananibbles Getting up that early doesn't seem so harsh with an early bed time, I seem to be far better at staying up late than getting up early though.
Blue Doggy I have ended up making some hideous purchases when shopping hungry, and then manage to eat half of it before I've even got the rest of the shopping put away
dumpling I hope you got your hobbity breakfast and I'm glad that things are still seeming positive
TTB Sometimes it's worth spending a little bit more for the convenience of knowing that you're eating a balanced diet. I hope you get some garden goodies with your friend
sn1987a Sometimes going for the easy option, especially when it's what other people want, is unavoidable
Molly Sorry that things are so difficult at the moment and best wishes for getting your mojo back. Have you had your mini break yet or have you still got that to look forward to?
Living Proof Welcome and well done for you loss so far. Best of luck with the green smoothie regimen, it doesn't sound like something I'd be able to manage!
I'm still somehow managing to stick to pretty healthy eating, despite the fact that I'd normally be stress-eating my way through everything in sight at the moment. IzHe's sister and her kids are coming to stay this weekend, which would leave me on edge at the best of times, and I'm really not sure that I'm comfortable with having people in the house for that long at the moment. Add to that the fact that we're going to end up being out and about a lot to keep them entertained and all I want to do is lie in bed with hideous quantities of junk food. I've so far managed to resist the temptation though and I'm sure it won't be as bad as I fear.
Best of luck and stay safe everyone xx

Hi
Welcome livingproof. Well done losers and sts. Hope you soon feel better Molly. I’ve eaten many a full pint of ice cream in one sitting Bluedoggy. Hopefully you can get through the visit without stress eating Izadora.

Breakfast: a repeat of yesterday.
Lunch: chicken marinated in yoghurt and tandoori paste then pan fried with onion and mushrooms and the leftover cooked cabbage. Chia choc pudding with raspberries.
Afternoon: Mug of tea and a shaped chocolate ganache thing or truffle not sure what it was, nice though.
Dinner: tuna mayo salad.
Laters: fizzy water and milk chocolate.
Take care all

Hi just to say that I committed a calorific crime this afternoon, but as it was after hours of kayaking I dont feel too guilty. Where we parked to start our kayaking adventure - there was a pub/tearoom and of course since we needed to use the facilities we had to buy a cup of tea, and cake as it would be impolite otherwise. Lovely outing with good friend.
Breakfast was yoghurt w granola
snacks was 2 x granola bars
other snack was tea w cake
lunch was rest of Mexican rice ... nice
dinner is chicken with vege

L - chicken with chickpeas and peppers, 1 slice of toast
D - chicken, chickpeas, fries and green beans
S - ice cream (shared so i eat lesss), hot chocolate , banana11 -
Morning All, its a lovely sunny day here. Thanks for keeping me going on the very slow but sort of steady weight loss path.
Living Proof and Brambling sorry to ready about your osteoarthritis in feet, that must be so frustrating especially when we are trying to get our exercise in. I did have plantar fasciitis a couple of years ago and it was horrible not to be able to get about, luckily I've recovered but I still get the odd twinge to remind me of it. I've also given up on all the heels Brambling - I'm not sure how I used to totter about in those high thin heels when I was younger, I can't even bear to put them on now, were we just ignoring the pain back then? Luckily there seem to be some nice flatties about now - I love my skechers and fitflops - but I have kept one of my pairs of more sensible heels in the wardrobe (just in case).
