@nananibbles you're up early. Hope you had a good run.
I went for a run yesterday but kept getting distracted as I stopped and munched black berries, so much better than chocolate.
Just checking in today to say well done to people who have joined, rejoined and to everybody who just keeps on going.
I know some people loose weight quickly but for me I count every lb I keep off as well as every lb or half lb I loose. It will eventually come off and then it will stay off.
Today should be a beautiful day here, no more rain, thank you please.

Good morning all,
I was up with the larks this morning and now I feel like a proper grumpalump. I will definitely need a nana nap soon or today will not go well at all. I was productive at least and prepped a pork joint in Mexican spices to go in the slow cooker for dinner. It is just starting to smell lovely and will probably drive the dogs noses mad all day.
My meal plan today looks like this:
b - chunky nut cereal and milk
l - curry loaf and salad
d - Mexican pork pozole with a jacket potato and veg to be decided.
s - fruit
Hope you all have a great day x

Good morning, everyone
Well done Losers, and STSers, especially when it was unexpected - isn’t that just lovely! 👏😀
Izadora, the zoom meeting was patchy, most connected well, but a couple couldn’t. But it was very good to see most people again.
Today has to be a shopping day, three shops and the bank, as the car has its MoT tomorrow. Yesterday’s extra food worked, I didn’t need any snacks or top-ups. Variation was swapping the celeriac for the first picking of hg runner beans.
Today
B : porridge (oats, water, hg berries)
L : cheese salad; cinnamon yogurt
D : hm vegetable soup; grilled pork leg steak, cabbage, carrots, plus another veg; raspberries & creamS : hopefully, none!“Tomorrow is another day for decluttering.”Decluttering 2023 🏅🏅🏅🏅⭐️⭐️

Morning all
L - porridge and 25g mixed nuts with a stick of celery edit; remove porridge add 25g feta cheese!
D - courgette spaghetti from the fast 800 book. Except without pine nuts. Because I dont own any. And I'm not paying 2.90 for 1 ingredient for 1 recipe. I might use cashew nuts instead. Less calories anyway!!!
Anyway, isn't it great to see everyone doing so well. Have a good day everybody 🌷🌷A bit of grin and bear it, a bit of come and share it

sn1987, Be very careful. People on here have been known to be economical with the truth. Mentioning no names, but follow the direction of my eyes.

Good morning all,
I'm trying to post more often even if I can't remember what anyone said. Sorry if that makes my post seem a little too "me,me,me". I am honestly reading along.
My new exercise buddy (the HT) has showed me some exercises that he's found that are done with a foam roller so we're off to buy one of those today. They're good for using after running too so it won't be wasted even if he stops using it. We've already done sit ups and a short run this morning. I'm trying to exercise in a few 15 minute sessions each day with him as hopefully that won't hurt his joints too much. That's what we did yesterday and there haven't been any complaints of pain today yet.
I always eat better if I'm exercising properly. I'm having curry for dinner tonight and the HT is having gammon and pasta in sauce. I will probably add broccoli or cauli to mine as I picked some up yesterday while I was out. I put cauli in the HT's dinner and mashed it into the carrot and swede. He saw nothing and I haven't told him yet. I'll tell him in a couple of weeks when he's been eating it for a while.
Take care all of you9 -
Morning All,
Wow, thanks TTB, what an impressive total loss. I'm just grateful that I'm doing a little bit better this time and not dragging the total down
ditty If you don't think your swim was that far I'd hate to think what you'd consider a long swim!!I'm amazed that you can get distracted during a run, I'm too busy trying not to collapse into a sweaty heap to notice anything around me
nananibbles Well done on the loss and I hope you managed to get out for your (very) early morning run
dumpling Well done on a productive morning and I hope you get your nana nap later
Blue Doggy I'm glad you enjoyed your slightly patchy catch up and that the extra food did a good job of stopping snacking
TTB I adore pine nuts but they are ridiculously expensive and I reckon cashew nuts would be a good substitution
sn1987a I think one of the reasons I like veg so much is that you can eat a lot of it for very few calories. If it's not something you enjoy it's hard to force yourself though
monnagran I'm really rubbish at lying, even on an anonymous forum, so have to take the option of maintaining a dignified silence on what I've eaten
Cranky It sounds like you and your exercise buddy are doing well, breaking it down into smaller chunks sounds much less daunting. Well done for sneaking in some cauliflower, I've debated trying it with IzHe but he loathes it so much I fear he'd be able to tell.
Despite the fact that I'm not generally a morning person I've found that I actually much prefer getting C25K out of the way before work. Okay, it's nowhere near as early as nana's runs but it still feels good starting my day knowing that I haven't got to face it later. I was also quite pleased with myself that, despite being really hungry last night, I managed to avoid the temptation to fall into the biscuit tin. I haven't given them up completely yet but am restricting it to with only one cup of coffee, rather than most of them...
Best of luck and stay safe everyone xx8
