I can I join please I've been losing the same couple of lbs on and off for the last year and I wouldn't mind so much but there are other lbs waiting in the queue to be lost as well. Just done yoga and then done day 1 of my 30 day exercise challenge. Gone from super relaxed to super sweaty. Don't think my heart rate been that high for a while, had to google what some of the exercises were. Russian twist sounds more like a refreshing cocktail than a bloomin exercise. Need to shift this mummy tummy although I have fond memories of its purpose, the eldest is know an adult and the tummy is becoming an unwelcome guest, one that refuses to leave. I suspect the chips yesterday, the colins the other day and the multiple cocktails at the weekend are not helping. I'm still 10st 11lbs so I've not put anything on but its time to get rid of the comfort blanket. I think the fact that DD1 and the hubbster went out walking in my favourite area yesterday and the only reason I didn't go is because I know i'm not fit enough. Years ago I would of yomped up that mountain but now the only yomping I do involves my mouth. So day 1 (again lol) has begun.

Hi
Welcome sn1987a and the cross rabbit. Nice to see you back Dumpling, best wishes for your fresh start.
Well done all you losers!
Today’s menu
Breakfast: raspberries, Greek yoghurt, desiccated coconut; coffee and cream.
Lunch: Parma ham and feta salad topped with pine nuts; coffee with cream.
Afternoon snack: cup of proper tea with milk and choc chia pudding made with canned coconut milk.
Dinner: sriracha chicken, sautéed mushrooms, onions and peppers, steamed broccoli. Fizzy water.
Laters: milk chocolate.
I went swimming this morning. 1st time this summer and with the walk there and back I think I’ve overdone it a tad. I’m also achy and more than a little sunkissed. Was so hungry when I got back, I rarely feel hungry on this plan, it was lunchtime and already prepared so I could dive straight in. I’m within my macronutrient counts for the day if I stick to the above though I’ll have something else if I do feel peckish later and go over, whatever I feel like even if it is more chocolate or I’ll never get to sleep with a rumbly tummy.
Take care all.

Hi all. Yet again I am amazed to have lost 1 lb this week as i had 3 major aberrations; one involving a whole tube of Pringles, a second one with a big piece of mature cheddar and another involving some salted caramel fudge! I discovered the latter in a drawer, where I had obviously hidden it from OH at Xmas! It all went in one afternoon.
I am now firmly back on the path of righteousness and shall try not to leave it this week.

Hello x
Welcome to the new posters - we are a very friendly bunch and very supportive x
Ive had a quiet few days and have done some mindful baking with DH this afternoon - made a chocolate cake for DS birthday - too rich for me so won't tempt me!
Have now got a pash for cherries! And raspberries still - all the foods that I have not been able to eat for many years! This time last year I was gearing myself up for my resection and now Im so much better - it was worth the pain!
Oh well enjoy the evening xx
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.10 -

Good evening everyone,
I can't tell you how much better I feel today, just having a plan and eating good food has really helped my mood. I have just spent the past hour making a vegetable and chickpea curry for me and sweet and sour pork for the rest of the family and it feels great to actually contribute to family life rather than just waiting for someone else to sort dinner. I know it doesn't sound like much but it is a big deal to me. I didn't sleep more than 3 hours last night so I will be having an early night for sure. My brain just wouldn't stop fizzing with meal plans and shopping lists etc. I definitely needed something to focus on as I have just been drifting for a while now.
Anyway, todays meals have been:
b - ham and tomato omelette
l - pitta bread with falafel, salad and sweet chilli sauce
d - chickpea and vegetable curry followed by a yoghurt quark thing
s - apple and 2 satsumas
Thank you for all your kind words and support, it means a lot. Hope you have all had a good day too x

Hello all,
dumpling it's so good to see you back and posting. Hello to the newbies too.
I've had a busy day as Saturday is one of my work days. Luckily for me the person that I look after likes walking so we went for a long walk along the prom. He's faster than me so I had to make an effort to keep up but that will do me good. I'm still sugar free and I'm hoping that will also do me good.
Take care all of you10 -
Evening losers,
V
ery late today. Lots of excuses, mostly to do with the influx of cardboard boxes containing things I haven't seen for5 years, and some things I swear I've never set eyes on before.
Will read through later, but just called in to report that ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST.
Minus 1 pound please Brambling.
Probably see you tomorrow.I believe that friends are quiet angels
