@Blue_Doggy hobbit breakfast! I love it. Think I am a hobbit too. I don't seem to have much impulse control so have a tendency to eat my packed lunch very soon after arriving at work! I think it would be easier if I lived alone and only had the food for the day in the house 🤣6

Thanks Brambling. There was further bad news yesterday evening but the patient is not in as bad a way as my dad was when he had the same thing happen. The HT will be taking GCSE's next year hopefully. Nothing is guaranteed any more is it?
Take care all of you

Hi everyone! Can I join your lovely group?? I am on a diet for 7 weeks now and I need some motivation to keep going! This week has been very hard. I can't stop nibbling! I can't do any exercise using my legs because of an injury, only walking, so I have to cut down my calorie intake. I have been so good counting calories so far and choosing healthy alternatives, but chocolate is calling my name!
My target is 13 lb for the quarter. Catching up with weighing since beginning of July:
1st week: 1.5 lb loss
2nd week: 1 lb loss
3rd week 1 lb loss10 -
Evening sn1987a and welcome. Looks like you've been doing really well 🙂. Theres a few of us here who are exercise limited so you're in good company. It's a very supportive group. 🌼A bit of grin and bear it, a bit of come and share it

Hi everyone, I am slinking back in with my tail firmly between my legs. It has NOT gone well for the past couple of weeks, I am really struggling to cope with lots of stuff and tonight I am so bloody angry with myself for doing the same rubbish things that got me this fat in the first place. I will weigh in the morning and start afresh yet again. It is so nice to see everyone and read about how you are all doing and to see some new 'faces' too.
I will finally get my results from my hysteroscopy next Thursday and then I will hopefully feel a bit better, the stress has been unbelievable. It is cruel in my mind to let someone with extreme anxiety stew away for over a month but on the other hand I am trying and failing to convince myself that no news is good news.
Anyway, I cannot continue like this, I feel really poorly both mentally and physically and so I want to try and help myself a bit by eating nutritionally good food and being a bit kinder to myself as the self-loathing is strong. So I will spend some time tonight planning both my meals and exercise and hopefully wake up tomorrow a bit calmer and more in control.
Dear Brambling, I can't face seeing all the angry purple faces that await me on the chart so could I please just have a fresh start and make my target 10lbs for the rest of the challenge. Thank you guys for being here, I lurked quietly even when I didn't feel able to comment and it helped a bit. Take care all and I will see you tomorrow x

Hi all, thanks for the welcomes. I must admit I've still been eating some 'naughties' this week, but I have been eating less (for example 2 biscuits with my latte instead of 4-6!), and I've avoided the biscuit tin at work. However I have also been doing some exercise every day, I've got my exercise bike in the lounge now, and have been doing at least half an hour a day on that, plus some other exercise with my weights.Yesterday was my best day for exercise, as I went for a walk to visit my DH's grave, (as it was 4 years yesterday since I lost him), and visited some other family graves while I was there, so plenty of walking. Then when I got home I cut the grass in the front and back gardens, and in the evening I did another half hour on my bike. Today was my weigh-in day and I was pleased to see a loss of 2lbs!Next Tuesday I'll be seeing my DS for the first time since Mother's Day, as it's his birthday, so will have to write that day off diet-wise, lol!SueWeight loss challenge 2/10lbs

Good morning all,
Back on track again yesterday - You've gotta love a bit of porridge to set you on the straight and narrow again. I didn't sleep great last night - dog woke me up barking an hour after I'd dropped off and then I just struggled to sleep the rest of the night so no running for me this morning as I'm too tired. I will take the dog for a walk in a bit though.
Well done on the smashing those pounds to all who have lost.
Dumpling don't beat yourself up, today is today and that is all you need to concentrate on. I've spent 2 years losing the same 7lbs - in fact I've probably lost half my body weight in that time yet still haven't lost the 7lbs! Just try not to fall into the restrict binge cycle that so many of us do. For me, this time, that means losing weight really slowly so my body doesn't feel restricted and celebrating every sts as well as every loss no matter how small and enjoying every mouthful of food I eat, even those guilty pleasures. No matter what happens the important thing is that you keep on coming back and climbing on board the wagon with us and for that you are a shining success
Meal Plan:
B - Porridge and bits
S - plum
L - hummus salad sarnie and red slaw
S- melon
D- greens rice and tofu
P - line of chocolate and biscuit9 -
Morning all,
Lunch - porridge and cinnamon, orange
Dinner - big fat steak, 50g rice, green beans, banana and yogurt.
Have a good day all 🌞🤸♂️A bit of grin and bear it, a bit of come and share it
You're welcome we can spare it, yellow socks8
