Good morning, everyone
And a Happy Monday to you all!
Nananibbles getting enough sleep is also good for weight loss.
Ttb well done on your STS 👍 gosh! That’s an austere and frugal diet! Well done for keeping to it, much respect for your self-control. 👏DumplingKeep up the good work!
sn1987a congratulations on that good loss! 👏
LittleVoice doughnuts! Well done on lasting it out this long in the year, forbidden fruits are soooo enjoyable! Enjoy today’s one!Ditty I hope you had a lovely swim🏊♀️
I managed to stick to yesterday’s plan (except for cream with the peaches - yum!) right up to 9pm when I felt in need of a bowl of oats with milk. Not unhealthy in itself, but undesirable as being a snack. So, I think I must not be eating enough at mealtimes, so I’ll increase the quantities in my meals to try to avoid that pitfall.
I have a Zoom meeting with friends this morning, the first time I’ll have seen them since mid-March so I expect it’ll be a bit stressful, let alone getting familiar with the technology. Therefore I need to avoid eating extra to relieve the stress.
So, for today
B : bacon & scrambled eggs (3 each rashers and eggs, increased from 2 of each)
L : cheese salad, peach & cream
D : small soup; grilled chicken leg, cabbage, red pepper, celeriac; strawberries (if still edible, I have my doubts - they’re Schrödinger’s strawberries at present - mouldy/edible -) and yogurt (otherwise yogurt & hg berries)

Hi everybody still not caught up on reading, but for the last few posts. Yes I had a lovely swim, did 2 laps so about 1600 m in 50 min not bad but basically in a wetsuit all you have to do is to move forwards - so cheating really.
Yesterday aI started out weighing all food, and working out calories, and I might keep doing spot checks, but oh my that's a full time activity.
Anyways I just wanted to say that I have now lost a full 5 kg since I started WI in March, I'm not quite half ways on my target but I'm back on a weight I have been at for a few years so must of my clothes fits fairly comfortably and I feel I have more energy. Happy days. I only share my weight journey with a couple of people and they are quite fat up with me, in a friendly way.
I will try to do a longish run later, but at the moment it is intermittently pouring so I'm hoping it will brighten up a bit.
Today's foodplan is roasted vege avocado and humus for lunch and some sort of vege stir fry for dinner. Hope everybody is doing well, keep eating your greens and if you must have a slightly off track snack then make sure you enjoy it.Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%

Good Morning x
Sorry I didn't post a weigh in last week, our gorgeous grandson was born on Saturday so with the excitement I decided to be less careful for a few days and didn't weigh. It's 3lb off for the two weeks please Brambling, thank you xx9 -
Hi
Well done losers and sts. Congratulations grandma Zippy.
I didn’t get chance to post yesterday. I weigh everyday and I gained a 1lb overnight on Sunday. All that exercise to gain weight! 😂 1/2 of that has disappeared this morning and I’m hopeful the other half won’t be far behind. Yesterday’s food was overnight oats with all the toppings, coffee then chipolatas with buttered cabbage and not pickled beetroot for lunch (I prefer pickled), choc coconut chia pudding with strawberries mid afternoon and a small antipasto plate for supper with fizzy water. Chocolate to finish.
Today’s menu is
Breakfast: raspberries, blueberries, Greek yoghurt, desiccated coconut, coffee n cream.
Lunch: garlic mushrooms, leftover sriracha chicken and stir fried peppers and onions. Choc coconut chia pudding topped with strawberries for dessert.
Dinner: cottage cheese salad.
Laters: chocolate.
Take care all.

Just called in to congratulate losers and STS-ers, ànd commiserate with gainers. Just keep plodding on, you'll get there in the end.
There is no point in me posting my food. As you know, I have given up worrying about WHAT I eat and concentrating on how and when I eat. Am having a lot of fun and losing very slowly, but no matter, I feel that I can keep this up indefinitely.
Point to ponder.........I'm not fat. God gave me airbags because I'm precious.I believe that friends are quiet angels

You're welcome we can spare it, yellow socks10 -
Congratulations Zippy on both the weight loss and new grandson, will you be a grandma, nanny, grannie?
I went down to the beach yesterday with my sister as she is borrowing a friend's beach hut, it was quiet where we were as it is located about 1.5 miles from a town in one direction and 1.5 from a popular cafe in the other, very very windy so lots of kite surfers out and I know I should know better at my age but I got wind burn (don't tell my nephew as I'll get the lecture) that's twice this month I've burnt my forehead, this time I added a high factor to my face but not my forehead and the wind obviously lifted my fringe (TBH by the time i got back to the car I looked more than a little windswept, new hair do was wrecked
) and i must have missed a bit on my neck line as i have a 2 inch red strip there as well
The wind meant I only got to eat half of my mint magnum as it blew half all over me and I walked 4 miles for it
Back to rain today so at least the garden is happy
Have a good week everyoneand try to be good
or at least not too bad
- NB I'm currently doing more

Afternoon All,
I think I've finally caught up with everything but, as usual, apologies for anything I missed.
Congratulation on the losses Cranky, ditty, Gingerlily, LittleVoice, monnagran, ouraggies, SandyShores, sn1987a (and welcome as well), Sue14 and zippy, and the STSs Blue Doggy, Chloris, and TTB.
Commiserations for the gains Brambling and Sirens
Blue Doggy I hope today's Zoom catch up with friends goes well and isn't too stressful. I'm not a massive fan of zoom as I can't work out how to get gallery view so end up with it flicking between different people and I get confused.
Brambling I hope the case of the blahs has gone away now and that you're enjoying your new hair cut.
Chloris There have been a number of times that I've managed to eat my lunch as a second breakfast and then ended up so hungry mid-afternoon that I've gone out to get a late lunch
Cranky Sorry that life's been difficult and I hope you have better news soon. Well done for not falling into eating to solve the problem and for staying sugar free. Hopefully your sister's sundae was a momentary blip rather than having given up on it
cross rabbit Welcome and well done for your exercise plan. Although I do now have a slight craving for cocktails
ditty That's a long swim!!
dumpling Welcome back. I'm glad things seem more positive now you've got a plan
Gingerlily I haven't been swimming in absolutely ages but I do remember always being really hungry afterwards
LittleVoice Well done on holding out so long on having doughnuts and I hope you enjoyed today's
Molly I hope your sleep's been a bit better and enjoy the cherries. They're not very MSE but I love M&S cherries
monnagran With the level of airbags I've got I must be very precious indeed
nananibbles I hope things get less busy and the dog lets you sleep tonight. I can sympathise with the same few pounds going on and off. A friend and I commented the other week that we'd hate to think just how many stones we've lost in the past few years, only to be heavier than we started!
ouraggie Well done for getting past the aberrations and back onto the path of righteousness
SandyShores Losing anything with the stress of moving house is impressive. Hopefully things are a bit more settled now
Sirens It sounds like you had a lovely weekend for your son's birthday. It's just a shame that lbs always seem so much easier to put on than take off
sn1987a Welcome and well done for how far you've already come
Sue14 Well done for limiting the naughties during what must've been a horrible week
TTB Well done for getting through the spring greens, no matter how many times I've tried I just can't make myself like them. I haven't even managed to get to a point where I can tolerate them because I know they're good for me
zippy Congratulations on the new grandson, you must be so happy.
Thank you all for the tales about frozen/melted chocolate, they gave me a really good laugh.
I was shocked, delighted and amazed that when I finally braved the scales this morning I'd managed a STS across the past 2 weeks. I thought I'd done too much damage during my attack of the grumps to be able to undo it in a week but it appears that starting up C25K again and spending most of the weekend cleaning rather than eating have done me a huge favour. I'm utterly exhausted now and can't move without making weird sounds but it all seems a bit more worthwhile
Best of luck and stay safe everyone xx9 -
@Izadora it's not as far as it sounds :-)
Managed a good balance of movement and eating today so far, my treat this afternoon was yoghurt w homemade granola. umm. Def a treat, but so yummy.Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%
