Hi
Well done losers and sts.
I said exactly the same about pine nuts tighteningthebelt, I did eventually buy a massive bag as it worked out cheaper per serving and I do love them. I love cashews too though I’m prone to munching them mindlessly, I don’t with pine nuts as they are so expensive.
Today’s menu
Breakfast: 1 bacon n egg muffin thingy and 1 pepper mushroom cheese quiche muffin thingy, ketchup; coffee with cream
Lunch: leftover cabbage and chipolatas from Sunday with the unpickled beetroot. Choc chia pudding with raspberries and strawberries.
Dinner: salami and cream cheese lettuce rolls. Fizzy water.
Laters: milk chocolate.
Take care all.

Thanks for doing the sums TTB it's something I have never got around toi just wished i had contributed more to the -51lbs
I had to look up what Pork Pozole was Dumpling, I do a lot of cooking but it was not a recipe I was familiar with
I do eat a lot of vegetables easily my five a day especially at the moment when the garden is producing, my mum would fill us up on veg as it came from the garden and therefore free and we would play hunt the slice of meat so old habits die hard for me, unfortunately my downfall is usually the snacking between meals and not my healthy three meals a day i eat
The cat had his annual check up, jabs and pedicure this morning, he wasn't happy especially when I had to hand him over in the car park, mind you I wasn't happy as along with the bill I was told he has gingivitis and will need a visit to the hygienistOk he needs to be knocked out for a scale and clean, just as well I have a kitty kitty to pay for it as it's been an expensive month
He's seems to have forgiven me!! although as I was the one who shred blood maybe it should be me doing the forgiving
he is sleeping off the pain killer injection he has to have with his annual jabs as he reacts to them
Lunch was a cheese and parma ham wrap with salad, it was the last of the cheddar and the wraps which isn't a bad thing. Dinner will involve cold lamb, runner beans, courgettes (in some guise) and either HM chips in the air fryer, mash or new potatoes.
Someone has given the 4 year old next door a recorder, unfortunately she hasn't been taught any notes yet let alone any tunes and is choosing to play it in the gardenLife shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin10 -
Brambling, and when she is taught some notes they will be THREE BLIND MICE, and she will play them over and over again for all eternity. Or until her parents burn the recorder.I believe that friends are quiet angels

Frighteningly I can still mime the finger movements for London's Burning and I learn that 50 years ago
Thanks Mr Jarvis for terrifying us all in to learning it - perhaps I should offer to show her

Good morning all,
I did indeed get out for my early morning run Izadora Getting out around 5.15 normally guarantees nobody sees meand kickstarts my day (I am in bed by 8.30pm!)
I lurve my veg sn1987a but I suppose that's a given that I'm mainly plant based (with the exception of a good bit of milk chocolate and cake) Brambling I can still roll off Green Sleeves on the recorder after nigh on 40 years and given the chance will swipe any random recorder of an unsuspecting child to prove it!
My meal plan is going to be a veritable smorgasbord of left overs for the next few days as I finish up everything in the fridge before I finish housesitting on Sunday. You may be pleased to hear that I have finished off both the hummus and the red cabbage.
Meal Plan:
B - porridge and bits
S - melon/plum
L - left over floppy carrots, dried out ginger and butternut squash blitzed into soup with chapati
s - Melon, fig and cashews
D - new pots, sautéed greens, aubergine and tofu (this is actually a lot nicer than it sounds!)
P- golden syrup porridge
Hoping the sun shines today

Good morning, everyone
Well done Everyone on contributing to the result of ttb’s calculation 👏👏👏
Izadora congratulations on keeping up the C25K, and very sensible of you to get it done early before the heat of the day, so it doesn’t hang over you ☁️ all day👍 Also very well done for biscuit tin restraint 👏
Brambling I’m glad you’ve been forgiven for the vet visit. Be glad you haven’t been instructed to brush his teeth every evening ... 🙀🙀🙀😾😼😿😸😺 It sounds as if next door’s infant needs a sound-proofed music room 🎵🐭🎶🐭🎶🐭🎵🎵 Lolat everyone’s memories of learning (I never learned the recorder ...😢)
Ttb, Gingerlily pine nuts mmmmm! Yum!
monna hi there! 👋
ditty, nananibbles well done on your exercising regimes and lots of fresh air (running woman emoji * 2)
Well, I masked up and did my errands yesterday, amalgamating 2 planned shops into 1. All successful as far as that went, fewer people than usual about. But in a massive error of judgement I got the timing wrong, and went out five minutes before noon. I did think to myself that maybe I should have lunch first, but decided not to because of getting to the bank (which has been closing at 2pm). As a result, a) I bought too much in the supermarket, and b) lunch ended up being half a punnet of plums and - er - 6 Mini Magnums.Let it be a warning to you, sisters, don’t shop when you’re hungry - the purse gets lighter 👎👎👎 and the body gets heavier 👎👎👎But breakfast and lunch were right on plan, and I didn’t snack at all 👍
Today’s meals
B : sausages & eggs (I forgot to take the (tinned) grapefruit portion out of the freezer)
L : cheese salad; yogurt with blueberries
D : grapefruit; steamed cod, peas, fennel, courgette; raspberries & cream
S : none planned or wanted“Tomorrow is another day for decluttering.”Decluttering 2023 🏅🏅🏅🏅⭐️⭐️

Good morning everyone, I am just sat here enjoying a bagel and blackcurrant jam for my first breakfast (I am hoping to persuade Steve that we need a cooked breakfast this morning
) as I am definitely feeling hobbity today
.I have had several good days now where I have been sticking to my diet and I still feel very positive which is fab. I was up at sparrow-fart this morning decanting two different soups I made yesterday into bags for the freezer. I think we shall have curry for dinner tonight as I want something easy and I have a low fat tikka masala jar of sauce I want to try.
meals today look like being:
b1 - bagel with jam
b2 - fingers crossed for bacon, scrambled egg, mushrooms and tomatoes
l - jacket potato with cottage cheese and beetroot
d - chicken tikka masala and brown rice
s -apple and a peach
Hope you all have a great day, take care xx

Morning peeps!
It's so lovely reading everyone's posts.
I'm quite enjoying the 'fast 800' recipes, they are not the best ever but they are serviceable and easy with good nutrition and calorie counted. The weekly shop price has gone up a bit, but worth it for me to have the easy life just at the moment.
L - going to miss lunch as I'm garden visiting my friend later and she might well have some goodies that I wont want to turn down! I haven't had cake since mothers day... Will edit post later. (Edit; very good friend indeed... no goodies!! Early dinner as per plan. Reserve the right to have 25g feta and 25g mixed nuts for supper. Will see how I go)
D - LO chicken, coconut and lentil curry with broccoli and carrots. Melon and ginger.
Have a good day everyone 🌸🌸🌸A bit of grin and bear it, a bit of come and share it
You're welcome we can spare it, yellow socks9 -
Blue_Doggy I hope you enjoyed the mini magnums! It could have been easily me doing the same!
My meals didn't go to plan yesterday, I went for pizza instead of my veggie burger with beansfamily pressure... we all wanted something easy and quick. I will post my meals at the end of the day in case I can't stick to my plan.
