🍽 day 1 of fasting today. Pizza was lovely yesterday but I've put some mid week weight on! Ah well.
Glad you're having a good break molly41. I have a friend with a heck of a job and she always does jigsaws on her holidays.
Have a good day everyone 🌷🌸

Hi just checking in, am thinking about smoothie breakfast or lunches? Or even protein shakes or something for when I go back to work, as am not sure how I will manage work life food balance once I go back in the car for 2 hours a day? Anyways not for an other few weeks!
For now I am about to do my 3 5k out of 10. I don't seem to get up early though to do it, as am not sleeping well just keep getting too hot!
Had a sneak preview at weight and it's honestly not looking great, so I'm trying to do the 8/16 fast except we seem to eat dinner really late most days.
Have not been listing food, but not too many side tracks so am feeling medium, so will ignore scales for now and keep going.
Happy midweek everybody.Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%

Any way I'm pleased to report a further half pound loss.
Well done to all who have lost more of those reluctant pounds or avoided somehow finding more. For anyone who isn't in either of those categories - your time will come!9 -

Hi @ditty1234
Have you thought about overnight oats for breakfast? There are loads of different recipes, and they all seem to involve putting oats and your choice of flavours/liquids/fruits or seeds in a jar or plastic pot and then just letting them sit overnight. I had a go once but don't think I let them sit long enough. Someone who visits our office occasionally brings a pot with her, and she sits them on her desk until she's ready - they always look so nice. I usually have porridge, but thought this was a good alternative if you're not near a microwave - although some recipes say you can heat them up if you want to. I might have to have another go to see if I can work out a good recipe.
Not sure whether you wanted to breakfast on the go, as a smoothie would definitely be better - 2 hours is a lot of travelling time - and these probably aren't good if you are driving. I can never eat first thing in the morning, especially if I'm travelling, but then get starving between 9 am and mid-morning so if I have to travel in future I will be looking for something a bit healthier than the chocolate and muffins that always seem to be the only options I have available to me.

Hi
Well done losers and sts’ers. Commiserations gainers. Hope today’s fast goes as well as yesterday’s ttb.
I’ve stopped posting my daily menus as it’s all got a bit repetitive again, I’ve had prawn and squid salad 3 times this week and the pack of Parma ham and assorted salamis seems never ending. I’m mostly assembling/cooking for one so things need using up before they go off. OH is fending for himself as we are eating at different times.
Take care all.

Well it's official I've been doing the 8/16 for a couple of days, and I quite like it but mainly as am at home and not doing much ie not long days at work.
Todays breakfast was yoghurt w fresh granola and a banana and some melon very nice.
Lunch will be rye bread w cheese and chutney and some cucumber and tomato.
Dinner will probably be a spaghetti bolognese!
And snack will be a bit of gin and maybe a crumble shared w friends - as am having friends over.
Have a great even if very humid day out there.Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%
