Close to being on plan. Reduced breakfast by 100 calories, felt hungry so had a packet of crisps with my hummus and salad sarnie. Didn't really nibble but did taste the food I was cooking but not as much as I would normally. Just finished a taste comparison of Aldi chocolate - not bad at all.
Total daily calories around the 1750 -1800 mark
652 exercise calories burned 648 deficit for the week.

Thanks for all of the good wishes, I am so relieved everything went well yesterday, I am now checking and tidying up the rest of the paper work.
PS Feel I have been sitting at my screen all week eating carbs so now a mountain bike tyre has snook back up around my waste. So am quite happy I managed a walk tonight and at least not over eating.

I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.10 -
Morning all,
Back from my run before the rain set in, 630 exercise calories burned off, will try for another 170 today.
Ditty1234 - the coconut Dahl is to die for - its so simple to. Onion garlic ginger, turmeric, red lentil veg stock cube creamed coconut ,water, lemon juice coriander and nigella seeds to finish off. I normally add roasted butternut squash as a side and rice over naan but we got some for free the other day. I'll post the recipe if you're interested. Red slaw is red cabbage, red onion, carrot, apple all grated. To that I add toasted sesame seeds, lime zest, and lots of fresh herbs - mint, coriander and parsley. I use lime juice sesame oil, either honey or mirin, a little Tamari (gf soy sauce) salt and pepper. Its divine and just feels so clean when you eat it.
Meal Plan
B - porridge and bits
S - melon (needs eating up)
L - scrambled tofu on toast with wok fried greens (I lurve my greens)
S - melon/ plums
D - not sure yet. Doing Pie and crushed potatoes for DD and partner but like the lasagne yesterday its fairly heavy for me. I'll probably have something based around tofu (although I had this for lunch), maybe hoisin tofu noodles - will have a browse at my recipes. Off to do a food shop this morning so I may have more inspiration after this.
P - chocolate
Have a great day

Good morning, everyone
Sandyshores congratulations on your loss 👏 well done.Monnagran - farm shop, oh my! It’s lovely! Lots of local produce, loads of healthy food, interesting and unusual produce, game, etc. I’m not a very good shopper, so my first few visits to a new shop tend to be done in a bit of a daze, followed by rising panic and a wish to get out ASAP. I tend not to see the full range of goods, so missed the cakes and biscuits (if there were any). The prices are quite high, as it’s in a posher & more affluent area than the mixed area where I live. I’ll go back, but in a while.Well done all you exercisers! 👍
Today will be mostly gardening, at least that’s the plan.Yesterday’s meal plan worked out pretty much as stated, although the gooseberries were replaced by strawberries & cream.
Today:
B : porridge ✅ tablespoon of chopped dates ❌ (dates: fruit, and add fibre, but very high in sugar)L : eggs (probably poached) and salad
D : steamed salmon with courgette, peas and some other veg
S : trying to avoid again (avoided any yesterday ✅)“Tomorrow is another day for decluttering.”Decluttering 2023 🏅🏅🏅🏅⭐️⭐️

Hello
Well done losers.
Weighday for me -2.5lbs please Brambling.
I’ve been feeling very flat ( makes a change from bloated I suppose ) no idea why I’m so fed up. I’ve been very lazy with food prep this week its all been rather repetitive and excercise has also been lacking.
Today’s menu
Breakfast: Greek yoghurt, raspberries and strawberries. Coffee with cream
Lunch: poached egg, ham, mushrooms.
Dinner: tuna steak with mixed salad leaves, roasted cherry tomatoes and a little sweet chilli sauce. Lemon cheesecake ( almond base so gluten free) for pud. I may break open a bottle of fizzy water.
Laters: milk chocolate.
Take care all

🍽
Another fasting day for me. I did well yesterday. Everybody's food seems so nice... coconut curries and tuna with chilli sauce...
Sorry you're fed up gingerlily. Hope it passes soon.
Have a good day y'all 🌸🙂A bit of grin and bear it, a bit of come and share it
You're welcome we can spare it, yellow socks11 -
Morning All,
sonyarita Welcome and good luck. Even if 21lb is being over ambitious at least you're aiming high
Brambling Well done for the loss. I hope you're sleeping a bit better now, I'm another one who reaches for all of the carbs and sugar if I'm tired
ouraggie I'm sure your OH thought he was being nice by giving you a plate of crackers and, as unexpected snacks go, it could've been a lot worse
ditty I'm glad all went well. My family have often joked that I should have my citizenship revoked because, despite having tried really hard to like it, I can't stand tea
nananibbles Much like eating for quality control, I think that birthday cake calories don't count. The biscuits were lovely but I probably didn't need to do quite such rigorous testing... The dahl and slaw sound lovely, although I'd have to leave out the coriander
Molly I'm glad you enjoyed the food shopping and well done for portioning up the naughties. I loved Imogen, it was actually the first Jilly Cooper I read, but I think Polo's probably my favourite. Having picked up all of my old books from my parents' house last week, I might have to re-read some of them
TTB I'm glad yesterday went well and best of luck for today's fasting
Blue Doggy I'm glad you made it to the farm shop and I know what you mean about going to new places. I hate dithering and not knowing where things are so tend either to buy way too much as I just grab things indiscriminately or buy nothing as there's too much to take in. Well done for avoiding snacks
SandyShores Well done for the loss. Being busy definitely helps me not to snack as much
monnagran I hope the curtain fitting goes well and it definitely counts as having a visitor. Maybe don't offer cookies until they're finished though, you don't want them to leave fingerprints on your curtains
LittleVoice I don't think it could be made much clearer that masks are compulsory on public transport but I wouldn't want to be the person having to try to kick them off. The driver really should've said something though
Gingerlily Well done on the loss and sorry that you're fed up. I think it's entirely understandable at the moment, I know that my moods have been very up and down, and I hope that you're feeling better soon.
Yesterday ended up being a complete write-off. Wednesday night's zoom quiz with friends was really good but we drank way too much and went to bed too late for a school night so getting through work was a real struggle and I reached for all of the wrong kind of foods to make myself feel better. I'm in my 40s, when am I going to realise that I'm too old for this rubbish!!
Best of luck and stay safe everyone xx13
