Today I am grateful for having a dry and safe place, for heavy kettlebells at the gym, for dh doing a tip run (no booking and no queues!), for getting stuff to the charity shop (and discovering that 0xfam is open, so I can drop off books next time), for dh making tea - it smells yummy.

Sorry for being AWOL.  Am on 22 nsd's.  Recently I had to call out someone from pest control as I had a wasp's nest behind an air brick.  He sorted that out, but unfortunately some wasps are still coming into the kitchen. Do not know where they are coming in from. I did phone him about it but he said that they could be still in the cavity walls and trying to find the nest. He said I can only use wasp spray.  I read that they could in the cavity wall up to 20 days.  I did meet up with someone who I used to work with in local park, had nice walk and a good chat last Friday.
    Grateful for:
Speaking to my brother on phone as it is his birthday today.
Attended an on line event about fairtrade wine.  Was interesting to hear about what projects the company are doing to help the local community where wine is produced.
    Going for daily walk.

CCL like deadlines, I actually get stuff done then.
Feel rough today, throat like razor blades hopefully a summer cold? Dosed up for hayfever anyway.
Spendy day DD is 36 today so bought lots of cheeses and crackers  to go with her big pressie, as she wanted an expensive EmmaBridgewater plate. Whilst I was spending did the superdryg deal on here so get £5 back in points, I needed hair dye anyway so stocked up. Decided it doesn't look any better getting it dyed at hairdressers but still would like it cut at some point when madness dies down.
Felt in minority here shopping today as most people seem to be wearing masks, not compulsory here in Wales yet. Might join in with the sheep and mask up next time shopping.
    Grateful for
Thursday & Friday holidays off work booked.
Lovely lady in local cheese shop so helpful.
Feel heaps better than I did last night.

Paid the balance of our October holiday today. Must confess that, although it's in the UK, I'm still a bit apprehensive the way things are going.  I am really concerned that we're heading for a second spike. Still, we must be hopeful, keep vigilant and hope that it will all work out. We've done all our homework, taken all the precautions we can so fingers crossed.

Today's been kind of quiet. Could really do with a bit of motivation.
Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.

    Grateful for:
Being in contact with brother, sister, niece and ex brother in law today.
    Watched a film on dvd.
Treated myself to a few goodies at my favourite shop.  Used the vouchers for the shop that I won, so free shop.
Getting free hand cream.  £5 was added to the loyalty card and the hand cream was £5.

Grateful today for a drier day, for some diy plumbing parts arriving, for BIL loving the lego I sent him, for lists, for not having booked a holiday to Spain.

Feel absolutely stressed today have not managed to complete a work task that should take about 4 hours. But have just sat on the computer all day faffing about. Without doing it. SO have not done my creative exploration I wanted to do, and have not talked to boys. It's hard with everybody home and everybody not really doing anything. But it's just not my job to entertain them! Don't mean to complain but it's been such an unproductive day.
On the good side it has been a NSD day and a cook from scratch day. I did walk the dog and she did nap on my bed for a bit, lovely little 'blanket'.
Today I am grateful for Joni Mitchel who just came on the radio, going back to work soon and looking forwards to a mini kayak outing tomorrow. Hoping for a better day tomorrow.
