Morning all
Well I have had another night on the sofa bed and am another day closer to getting my bedroom sorted out. I've just painted a wall and am sitting with my second cuppa of the day and relaxing and formulating a plan for August. I will get that up today.
Toni'sfriend - sorry that you have to read my diary ramblings. I don't half go on when I get going, but you're right - I'm sure I'm going to love it all being done. DD is spending loads of time in her room now that it's all finished, and I want that feeling of the space being my own, with my stamp on it.
So, today's plans include:
A third coat of paint on the wall if it needs it.
Take ds to his friend's house then pick him up again later
Sort through the pile of junk that seems to be getting much bigger in the centre of my room, but I have an appointment at the tip tomorrow so need to get a car full of stuff for that.
Get a plan for August up and on here.
Get back on with calorie counting and looking after myself healthwise. Not giving up
Working hard to pay off my debt
Time to take back control

I've not done much for the past two days. I'm not in pain but various bits aren't working as they should and getting odd cramps, pains and joint/ muscle failures. Walking strangely, a bit like trying to walk on a ship, not dizzy but not quite sure how to describe it.
I cleaned the new fridge and filled it with drinks (juice, cans, bottles) and salad - love the salad drawer, it's a full one, not a little half one, and put most of my books onto the new bookshelves, which has given me lots of space (still have a piled up mess to sort - was needed so that I had enough energy to upend the bed and wrestle the fridge freezer through and into place. Planning a long overdue paper purge and have put some things that might be quite useful (strong paper bags) into recycling. The priority is making space and not holding onto things 'just in case'.
Lots to do so need to prioritise. Worked our way through the cheese mountain and had gammon (from the cooking bacon pack) for lunch yesterday with chips, peas, mushrooms and pineapple and two more meals that I can make from scratch plus a few hm ready meals for mum. Using up what needs using (wraps have a longer shelf life than bread but found some at the back of the shed, fallen down behind other stuff and then had other things dumped on top). Will need a food order - much more scope as my freezer drawers are empty and mum's has a lot of space. Lots of other things needed so will do that sometime today.
Today I am grateful for this room feeling a bit more 'mine' (fridge freezer sort of 'blends' with the wardrobes), for getting things done from the bed and for a new series of books (recommended by people in one of the author groups I have joined). I bought one and after the first few pages knew I would like it, so ordered a bargain box set of the first 10 in the series. Nearly finished the first and really settled in there - such a good feeling. I'm an introvert too ccl (in fact as a teenager I read one of Eysenck's books and found my personality was off the scale - I'm really weird).
My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage5 -

So I have managed all of 9 NSD days in a week of scatter spending a quick break and general lots of small little all together big spends.
I am grateful for being able to book my regular swimming slots through August, even if it's a bit of an out lay. I even book a swim with ds, looking forwards to that.
I am grateful for my weight loss slowly happening, a full 5 kg now since March ... gently does it.
I am grateful for having 3 weeks ahead of me where I can decide what I do when! Have some bits of work to du but not a whole lot.
So am looking forwards to completing July's thread and hopping on to the August thread soon.Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%

Hello Turtles, sorry not posted, have been reading along but forgot to post. No breaking news up to 14 NSD's. Feeling life is bit dull at the moment. DD birthday tomorrow will book a meal out next week when eating places open up indoors in Wales, seen so many people sitting outside in showers today. CCL will read your diary, I need to be inspired, tbh worst room in my house is the bathroom, I love toilet and big sink( old fashioned style my boss was throwing away) I have so may spend on a nice deep bath and just get it re tiled. Can't be that expensive can it?Thanks CCL for doing August I will pop over and sign up.My total debt now stands at £150 woo hoo.Grateful forFootball only thing kept me sane last few weeks, anyone recommend good books to read not thrillers.Cherry scones yesterday from farm shop - so yummyBoris obsese diet plan- really? I've just popped over and joined August's thread
Not much happening here - have now managed to offload all of the applicable things to the CS (whoop!) and we're now re-visiting the children's wardrobes - pesky creatures have grown yet again - so there will be more to go, no doubt (have several piles for the various schools...)
