Good luck with the sorting out and dealing with the 8 legged things.
Check with the charity shop what days they are taking donations and how much. My local one is 2 days a week and a carrier bag or two.
Someone is going to be lucky having a new tree and I bet yours will look fantastic!Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.3 -
Hurrah for Christmas I am looking forward to the lights to cheer us all up.Aiming for a minimal spend 20222

Good job on the survey! I had a phase of doing tons of them then just couldn't face it anymore. I got quite frustrated with the ones where you spend 20 mins on it then it boots you out with a silly reason. The extra cash is useful, though.2

Still not done yet, going to have a go today, as I've only just cooked up all the food... really tired, nearly typed 'cooked' with a starting letter of 'f' there....oops, good job I spotted that!.
Someone is going to be lucky having a new tree and I bet yours will look fantastic!Fed up with wrestling it out the box and back again every year on my own, it is quite heavy so I will ring the charity shop first as I don't want to lug it there and get refused!
And that's not counting the bauble fest!

I am not doing every day, because of different things going on, but had my first weird one. Said in description wanted all different countries, then when I accepted, rejected me for not being in the US! I'm tempted to have my first full sized real tree this year, normally I have the small ones from the supermarket. There's a farm up the road and I can see them growing. Causes a lot of conflict though, as it's taking nature for just a few weeks of pleasure.
It's not just you with the funny surveys. I did one yesterday, asked me if I had kids, said no then asked me their age / sex 😂

They are nice, and that distinctive pine smell is lovely... just an idle thought, how about a dwarf pine (or other evergreen) plant with real roots? That way you still get the real tree effect, but it's still with you year on year? OR some other evergreen plant that's really a house plant? Ooh on a roll here, I did spot some evergreen climbers last year, trained onto Xmas tree style wire frames, very original idea, so you get the feel of real greenery, the size you want. I think they had ivy mostly, that kind of thing. Sings 'The holly and the ivy, when they are full grown....' oh no, bad Ren, encouraging you to spend....

Of course, didn't get paid for that one, yet, got a request still asking me to complete it. What the heckers like? It threw me out!

Have to be very careful about greens inside, cat likes to sample fresh food 😁 I've thought about a rooted one, then keep it outside most of the year. Think TomBo wouldn't be too happy lugging it up / down the stairs every year 🙈 got a while to decide 🤗
Definitely not just you with surveys!Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.1 -
Ah, that's a good point, you don't want shredded house plant and a quick trip to the vets! I now have this image of a muttering Tombo engulfed by foliage staggering up the stairs to your flat....
Managed to help my relative out today, and stagger walk to the vet's for the dog's booster. She had a quick check up, not too bad although she's a bit chunkier than last time (I know that feeling), but a touch of possible sore back, so its diet for the both of us, which spurs me on to not over-indulge for both our sakes.
Typical day for me today:
Up at 5am (a lay in!), prepare breakfast for me (porridge, fruit, soy milk, glass of water and cup of tea) and dog. Wash & dry up pots, and put away.
Put out peelings etc in to wormery (still want to call it a wormerama for some reason), do poop patrol for any doggie deposits.
Walk dog 5.30-6am, put bins out (& back again later)
2 laundry wash loads, dried, put away.
Check up on line what's occurring? Surveys. Snack of apple & a few nuts, mint tea.
Walk to relatives, check out how they are doing, supplies/meds/routines/housework. Walk back (about 20 mins there and back)
Lunch - re-heated homemade spiced carrot, butternut & lentil soup & bread. With water
Walk to vets & back (about 2 hours which includes stroll around the park)
Snack for tea - peanut butter on some oatcakes as couldn't be harrised to cook. With low cal cocoa in oat milk.
Feeling a little tired, but, not done housework yet...."...when you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains however improbable, must be the truth..."
