Knowing my luck the plant would be like the one from Th3 Adventur3 Gam3 and keep us on our toes!
Winter we need a bit extra to keep us warm, summer a bit less and it's easier to ditch due to being outside more.
Aside from the stress with relatives because of helping, rather than just visiting, it seems like a nice day. Activity, bit of domestic and meals. Varied things, indoors and out.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.1 -
Ha! Or a triffid....
Yes there was actual sun showing today, and reasonably mild. Didn't get soaked for a change. And money saving apart for the £48 at the vets. At least she got her dew claws clipped (plays me up and won't let me near them!) whilst we were there which saves me the stress and hassle.
All grub made from scratch except the oatcakes & bread. Wonder if I could actually make my own without it turning into a doorstep? Do remember attempting it at school, but, the weight of the damn thing, no-one would eat it, and suffered the humiliation of putting it out for the birds, they wouldn't eat it either!"...when you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains however improbable, must be the truth..."

Do you have a mixer on a stand? if so the dough hook helps makes really good bread. If you have a local sell or swop page on fb you could put the tree on there if they collect it they can have it for free- save you carrying it. You know you are doing really well, dont you? You are so different to even a couple of months ago, xxClearing the junk to travel light

That was a good price for jabs and nails. You haven't stressed about the bill 🤗🤗
I will check my old cookbook tomorrow and see what the recipe is, never had a bad thing from it.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.1 -
May i ask which survey sites you would recommend? I am thinking whenever i start panicking and looking at the news (which achieves nothing but upset me further it would be more constructive to do a survey)Aiming for a minimal spend 20222

Thanks for posting, sadly not, although I like to idea of pummelling something hard with stuff going on at the moment!
I seem to have developed an aversion to FB, for some reason, which is to my detriment... I think I will lug it to the charity shop with the help of a relative with a car, someone will have it! Still haven't delved yet, but, must do it before Thursday else it will be hanging around the home for weeks or months....
Thank you, it's nice to 'hear' that from someone else! I am getting there, even if it feels painfully slow..."...when you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains however improbable, must be the truth..."

Hope it helps as a constructive distraction for you.
Well, I am only a beginner, but, I just picked one or two out of the MSE picks. Prolific Academic, which I've stuck with, and another one which for some reason rejected my log in, and couldn't figure out why, so haven't got back in it. Forget which one it was now! PA seem to be reasonable, a few surveys a week which I can just about cope with....
The MSE list gives good feedback on types of cash or points given, ease of use, etc. so may I also suggest a good browse for which ones you might prefer as well? I think it was under the 'Boost your income' info, scrolling down to 'On-line earning' . If I remember correctly there was a chat room forum on the different survey sites, so you can read more people's experiences of other ones too. Hope that helps....
I had to actually create a Paypal account (not had one before) & still don't know yet how I will use it....
Hoping it will be a bonus for the Xmas shopping soon..."...when you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains however improbable, must be the truth..."

Another positive step to money management Ren. The fact you never thought about paying the vet was good. Subconsciously you knew the money was available to cover it 🤗
Surveys are a great distraction and in a way easy money. Sitting on the sofa with a brew while doing them is like getting pocket money for doing what you do anyway 😁Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.1 -
