Cat. Sofa. I see no movement happening....
Not unless you get a real fire/stove then she might deign to stretch in front of it.... "...when you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains however improbable, must be the truth..."

Only if the sofa is moved in front of it, she's not really a floor cat 😂Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.1

Ren could you maybe get some old pallets & fence off the veg beds ? Where I live there are usually pallets left in peoples forecourts that they want to get rid of for free. Or maybe look on local selling sites for free stuff. I don’t do face buk but have seen free stuff on local free cycle & gum tree.0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

I know one of the neighbours has an allotment, and a van, I could maybe give him something (plants? few quid? old office chair?) if he could look out for any, or, help me collect some for the veg plot.
Hmmmm.... I don't think the dog could climb those, despite her climbing/ninja antics?
She has been know to escape 'dog-proof' gardens, limbo under pond nets (and had to be rescued as she couldn't find her way back out of the pond!), been rescued from the middle of a pond which was netted (picture dog sheepishly 'hammock-style' on top of pond & huge difficulty in getting her off and many embarrassed apologies to relative), and disappearing for 2 hours in a large park, only to be found with back legs poking out of rabbit hole! Erm. Maybe I would need to reinforce any pallets.... or, electrified fence, spotlights, patrolling guards with German shepherds.... lol

Ha! You've got to get her a 'baby sofa', or footstool for her fireside snoozing, lolMovingForwards said:Only if the sofa is moved in front of it, she's not really a floor cat 😂

Your neighbour would probably be very pleased to help, gardeners do seem to pitch in quite readily with each other.
Maybe rename your dog to whodontshe 😁😁
I'm looking at getting a child's chair for her 🤫Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.1 -
Yes, if I can bump into him, he is usually 'at the allotment', lol...

Ha, like it, it has more of a ring to it than ninja-dog....
Ah, how lovely, lucky cat....

Tons of things happening at the minute, but, I managed another shop (with a list) and only spent £21.61.
Funny thing, this meal plan, list, shop malarkey - it works!
Just to give an idea (ok, so I can boast slightly, I admit it!)
Rough meal plan:
Mushroom Bourgoine thing (6 portions)
Succotash (4 portions)
Lentil & harissa soup (4 portions)
Y/S vegan sausages - still in freezer (9 left)
Falafels (6 left in freezer)
Plus salad, and accompaniments, and the usual oat/fruit breakfast.
From Mr T needed to buy:
UHT soya milk x 4 @ £1 each - 4.00
Sweet pots 1kg - 0.95
Carrots (imperfect) 1 kg 0.53
Shallots 300g 1.00
Red onions 1kg 0.59
Garlic 4 in pack 0.59
Celery 1 bunch 0.47
Pear (imperfect) 4 pack 0.54
Gala Apples 5 pack 1.60
Q 0.43
Lemon, one only 0.30
Red wine stock pot 4 pack 1.30
Peppers, 3 pack 0.89
4 packs mushrooms 3.59
500g soya yogurt plain 1.35
Brown loaf, seeded 1.10
Mint tea bags x 40 1.19
Chamomile tea bags x 40 1.19

Total £21.61
As I already had some things in like spices, tinned beans, frozen veg, so are enough for the meal ideas. The mushroom dish was for a family meal, which is now sadly cancelled, however it's cooked and 4 portions frozen, 2 in fridge for next week. Still have to do the soup and other meal. The rest are the freezer sausages/falafels.
If I hadn't planned the more expensive mushroom dish, it would have been cheaper, but I also have a lot of ingredients to make more recipes with, bonus! I bought the red wine stock pots as the recipe needed red wine, but, looking at the prices of even the cheapest ones, the stock pots were the cheaper option and still vegan.... I am not grumbling, as it does taste nice!
So far, the whole food plants from scratch is working. There is no junk food left in the place, mostly because I chomped my way through it...."...when you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains however improbable, must be the truth..."

That's a fantastic shopping list! The meals sound wonderful, save me a seat I'm coming down 😁😁😁
Boast away, sing from the roof tops, dance around your home. You did it!!
Stick with the imperfect veg as that can save money, usually because it's a bigger pack. It all tastes the same.
Keep a couple of garlic cloves to plant in your garden, each clove makes a new bulb and it's the right time of year to put them in 🤗

Mint dies down at this time of the year. Pick some and freeze it for using over winter, it crumbles nicely from frozen. You are being good to yourself arent you, fresh air and work to keep yourself from dwelling on things you probably cant change. xxClearing the junk to travel light
