I just know what I'm like with sweet and savoury, fruit helps with the sweet side especially if it's thinks like banana, pear, melon, rather than orange, grapefruit etc.
I buy fru1t and f1br3 type cereal, packets of fruit and nuts etc. It makes a huge difference.
Well done on sticking to your shopping list and walking out with change 🤗
Just think if you keep putting all your change into your stash jar, you will see it fill up and know you have emergency money to fall back on, without having to use your bank savings.
Keep dancing, the glass half full woman is bursting to get out 😁Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.1 -

This I can and will do, apart from the cereal - I have tried that in the past and didn't enjoy it for some reason I can't recall....

Ta lovely....

Ooh, the novelty - having ready cash.... when I get a full jar I am rolling around on it first....

Probably didn't like the cereal as it's cardboard 😂
I've often wondered what it would be like rolling around a stack of money (notes).
Filling jars up with coins is fun, emptying them on the floor and sorting into £1 stacks is great, can build a little money castle around yourself while doing it, fending the 'people' (dog / cat) off with one hand, while counting and building with the other!Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.3 -
Ha! Probably - although it's been a while since I tried it. Remember my old GP (very old school) asking about my diet, and me thinking cornflakes were a healthy start. Well, it was a while ago... He looked at me quizzically and said 'May as well eat the box!' which put me right off them. Porridge is my go-to now, warm, filling, dotted with fruit, sprinkled with milled flaxseed.... Now that keeps me going!
Yeah, in my dreams... you can't roll far on a fiver, and coins would be a bit too hard and cold...

Actually done some gardening:
Emptied out plant pots ravaged by slugs, the pesky blighters, and others which grew nothing, or, weird mushrooms which were not planted. NB. Must not over-water....
Topped up pots of things which are growing with the extra soil - mizuna, chard, basil, parsley (well, waste not..). Some past it greens in the compost. Nice to see sun even if its cold. Planted out mint in a large pot before I kill it with over-watering. It will be safer growing outside! Although it is looking half dead...I thought mint was indestructible? Optimistically potted on some carrots that germinated, in another pot, well no harm trying?
Planted garlic at last! Had to use large pots where the peas were supposed to grow and the ****** slugs scoffed. Lets see them eat those! Ha! Lovely to imagine those fat, firm, sleek white cloves plumping up into full garlic bulbs for next year. Had to plant in pots as the dog still insists the veg plot is her bathroom. It's ok for the larger potted on stuff like the Kale, as she can't squat on those - they are too big, but, really do not fancy what she might do to little cloves....
Bit of weeding then in for a cuppa.... some family stuff going on so it was lovely to block that out and enjoy the sun, the feel of soil on my hands, and under my nails, birds chirping and the resident robin fluttering around keeping an eye out for the odd worm."...when you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains however improbable, must be the truth..."

There's some foods I just will not eat as that's all what was in the family house growing up. It's only recently I stopped slicing cheese so thin you could see through it 😶
Porridge is so versatile and soaks up all the yummy flavours.
For my money fort to come down, she would have to move from the sofa 😸Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.3
