Small update - thank goodness - finally got a re-issued EWS1 form, with a correct signature from a chartered engineer / whatever person. The developer sent it directly to my broker so hopefully he's getting that uploaded to KR today. Maybe just maybe... offer within a few weeks. This has been going on soooo long!1

What a weird day... I got an AiP from Kent Reliance, EWS1 after 7 months from the seller and a call from my old broker (who got me DiP from Leeds, which was then cancelled).
I should be happy at this progress after so many months (sale agreed 6th March!) but I'm kind of just drained by this all! I think because I haven't told my old broker he is still fired (I couldn't, I'm a mush)....

Help!
But yes it sounds like you need to just tell your broker you've decided to move on. At the end of the day, it's a business / client relationship so you don't need to feel bad. Just be honest and say the whole process has really drained you and you're taking a break and going elsewhere.
Also well done on your KR AIP - welcome to the club haha. We're all very friendly here. I've been watching people come on to this thread with lots of worries, and get their offers and be very happy. All while I still wait for mineKR seem to generally be very good - just a bit picky (as you'd expect for an off-high st lender) and slowwww. But then so is every bank atm I think. Sometimes I dip into the Nationwide thread and that's just painful to read!

How long did everyone's offer take to come through once they were in the 'offer queue'. Our last doc was approved Friday and our under writer put us in the queue. Really hoping we get it through today as they said 24-48 hours 🤞1
