Well done - committing mortgage fraud is not a great idea! Also a quick google for 'GI Ltd' immediately reveals it's gambling so any underwriter could have done that and found you out. You made the right decisionadzharr91 said:i decided to tell them the truth, i hope this doesnt make the application decline due to this
It may be fine - it's all about the context. Are these just occasional, low amounts? Do you have any outstanding debt? Your broker will be honest with you on if it's a potential problem.
Good luck
Sorry to hear this - I'm afraid I've never heard of personal searches. Perhaps post in the broker - ask me anything thread and one of those guys can shed some light? Which local authority is this? Alternatively what has your broker suggested?Maaxx said:Hi guys, we just had an update from our HA regarding local authority searches. Unfortunately due to a cyberattack they are unsure of a definite timescale of when search reports will be available again. They suggested search delay insurance as this can help us to exchange and complete without the searches but as far as I am aware, KR do not accept this insurance. I just researched this online and KR accept personal searches? Does anyone know anything about this and is this possible to obtain?

Yes i’d say its a low amount, just £10 at a time maybe 8 transactions over the month. But not done it for a month so I have offered to send my most recent bank statements. Its because of lockdown I was bored. i’m in slight credit card debt and i have a £300 overdraft but never used my debt to pay the gambling0

Hi were having personal search done, our solicitors used a private search provider for it. And no KR don't accept the indemnity insurance for delayed searches, not for a new build anyway, that's what my solicitor told me.Maaxx said:

Ah is it, so does the solicitor sort it out for you? So i don’t need to find a private search provider ourselves? Is it better and quicker? Sorry for the questions! Lol. I have a feeling we might be doing the same if this is the case. Ours is a new build so i think it will apply for us too thenaleeek said:

We got our offer 3 weeks ago but still on the thread, noticed your post about gambling. They will take all the gambling off your income so say 80 in a month they will times by 12 to give £960 off your overall income , had it done myself I like a bet, I don’t drink I don’t smoke; so I like a bet on the horses etc which is perfectly acceptable and Kent gave me a mortgage with gambling transactions, gambling isn’t forbidden by any means, it’s when you either lie about it, gamble to try and make ends meat, gamble huge amounts, and most of all borrow /overdraft etc for gambling it’s an absolute no.adzharr91 said:Yes i’d say its a low amount, just £10 at a time maybe 8 transactions over the month. Thanks for replying! It’s not a mass amount of debt, i can clear my overdraft no problem and my credit card debt isnt high at all, its just there. I’ve told the truth about what it is so fingers crossed it doesn’t stop ussamw2311 said:

They take everything into consideration, every application is totally different hence why some people are asked more in depth questions and others aren't. I've applied as a single applicant, I have 2.5K on my credit card and pay for my daughters childcare etc all on my own with no other income for help and they accepted me. Just be totally honest about everything, usually if they are going to decline the mortgage they will do this early on. Good luck everyoneadzharr91 said:
