I wish I could get in touch with them and get them to push it through, my MA said she will chase the case today but heard nothing so far :(

Me too! I'm the do it yourself type! So wish I could directly give them the nudge on our application. Still waiting to hear back from our MA whether the signature on the EWS1 form has been approved so they can move forward with the underwriting process. I'm so stressed! :(

@Maaxx Its an awful situation isn't it, just want it now! I've also checked with my solicitors and they can turn around completion in two weeks so were literally on the cusp to get an offer to be in before xmas!

I know, super frustrating. Will be great to get it before xmas for sure. Good luck!

Just a little side note, our MA books calls in with our under writer and that has certainly meant that when reviewing additional documents it has been done alot faster than the 5 working day turn around as they get reviewed in time for their booked call
We got it emailed, thank you!

Did you set a completion date yet?

Just heard from our MA the only thing now holding ours up and what KR are waiting for is the memorandum of sale from the developer . We have the one from the estate agent but apparently they need the other mentioned and our MA is chasing the developer without much luck. So frustrating
Hey are you buying shared ownership? I’ve sent memo of sale from estate agents but now KR want one from
housing association but the estate agents said they don’t issue one.
Any help or advice on this would be great x

What developer are you buying from? My MOS came from my developer and not the estate agent. Seems odd that they won't issue one. Just tell your developer they have to produce one or they will jeopardise their sale. Developers are generally desperate for completion before end of year as that's when they declare profits etc. So they should pull their finger out.

Hey, we're buying shared ownership and got our MOS from the housing association. Might be worth giving them a call yourself, the housing association I mean, and asking them to issue you one. The estate agent isn't the seller, it's the HA so it should be them doing the MOS.

Also our MOS has all the details about the rent we will be paying, maybe that's what's missing on the one the estate agents gave you?
  • i’ve just checked my credit profile and KR had done a search on the 12th November (where I got mortgage in principal) and then another one on the 27th November (before they received our full application) is this normal?
