I would apply ASAP - they are supposedly taking up to 8 wks at the momentadzharr91 said:My pack has finally gone to KR from the MB, they said the turn around time for them to check everything is 10 days. At what point shall I instruct the solicitor to do the local authority checks?0 -
I know! Our developer has sent the form back with a different signature which our MB has now passed onto KR to double check and approve (hopefully) but its so annoying as this has caused major delays for us to progress! I think KR has different criteria than other lenders who easily would accept the form no matter what but KR apparently needs it signed by someone official! We thought we were on the valuation stage but looks like we still need to be passed to underwriting as soon as the form is given the go ahead. Have a feeling we may not be moving until next year Easter!rachlikeswinter said:
I'm in exactly the same position as you. My developer is now pushing to get the form with the right signature - I have no idea how long this will take! Have KR said they're going to relent and use the form as-is? I have a friend buying in the same development and her lender (Halifax) accepted the form with this exact same signature. So god knows why it's a problem for KR and not other lenders.Maaxx said:We just had an update from our MB saying there was an issue with the EWS1 form about the wrong signature. This has been processed to KR so waiting to hear back if they approve. Apparently this has been an issue for everyone and has been causing delays! So hopefully we can get a move on to the underwriting process once they give us the ok with the form!1 -
Who is your developer if you don't mind me asking? How long did it take for them to get the correct signature?Maaxx said:

Yeah KR won't put my case into the underwriter queue until the valuation is satisfied. Which won't happen until the valuer is ok with the EWS1 form. I'm hoping for a move in January but honestly who knows! Still terrified something untoward is going to happen at underwriter stage, considering something has gone wrong at every single stage so far!0 -
Hackney Sales - our MB said they sent the correct signature last Friday but not sure how long it took for them to get it sorted before passing it through to our MB. That's what I'm worried about too! We've had issues earlier this year when we first applied and all fell through because of the pandemic but hoping we get past the underwriter stage and finally progress this time! I just know for sure there's going to be more delays so I'm terrified too, this is all i think about right now, we just want our first new home so bad!!rachlikeswinter said:
