@aleeek Local Authority searches for Essex at 30-35 days. Hoping we might get some luck. 
Did anyone watch that Panorama show about Shared Ownership? If not it's with watching but I felt it was one sided... interesting to hear others thoughts though?

Survey instructed 19/11
Survey carried out 26/11 Just wait and see now my MA said it was a 6 day turnaround for underwriting

Our survey is being done today but the under writers already made a start on our application last week and requested some additional documents. All searches with solicitors done and dusted so hoping we might get our offer next week 🤞🤞 really love to be in for Xmas

@csumm4 sounds like our situation, all our searches and everything are back it is literally just the mortgage offer we are waiting on. MA advised the initial underwriting is looking good, so we are hopeful good luck to you

@Nic88Nac yes it does.. I am hoping that if it is 6 working days but they have already started (although I dont know how far they got) and requested docs that we could shave some time off that turn around time. Our MA used them on an identical property a couple of weeks ago and he had the valuation report within a day so 🤞🤞 really hope we get something through next week. How many working days are you at now?

@csumm4 from submission 7 working days but our survey was only carried out yesterday, but my MA is keeping in touch with any updates so I will let you know if I hear anything else

Hi all. Small update, our solicitors said they are ready to exchange and the mortgage offer is the one thing holding this up. Therefore they have sent a letter to KR to escalate the case. If anyone else is in the same position, it may be worth to send a letter.

We're on 6th working day waiting for offer and not heard anything today! My MA closes closes at 3pm today so another weekend to wait

This is a good idea. I might ask my solicitor to do the same

@MSN2220 We've been in this position for about 6 weeks already, its ridiculous had our offer accepted mid August, 3 declined applications, 2 surveys paid for! Hoping this is the end and praying for an offer ASAP 🙏
