Gosh! Hopefully you get your offer soon! Do you mind sharing who declined and why? I was declined by Leeds because of the state of my bank statement. Makes no sense!

@MSN2220 firstly Halifax, then nationwide and then we went with Natwest. We don't have exact reasons but my partner is a chef so I think the industry! Glad we found our current mortgage advisor as she has helped us amazingly and hopefully KR will be the one for us.

Tiny update (become obsessed) had an email from clear score (registered with them to check my credit file etc) with a new alert. Hard search added to my credit file on 27th so hoping thats a good sign things are moving on with the under writers 🤞

We just had an update from our MB saying there was an issue with the EWS1 form about the wrong signature. This has been processed to KR so waiting to hear back if they approve. Apparently this has been an issue for everyone and has been causing delays! So hopefully we can get a move on to the underwriting process once they give us the ok with the form!

My pack has finally gone to KR from the MB, they said the turn around time for them to check everything is 10 days. At what point shall I instruct the solicitor to do the local authority checks?

I'm in exactly the same position as you. My developer is now pushing to get the form with the right signature - I have no idea how long this will take! Have KR said they're going to relent and use the form as-is? I have a friend buying in the same development and her lender (Halifax) accepted the form with this exact same signature. So god knows why it's a problem for KR and not other lenders.

ASAP tbh. My searches were instructed 7 weeks ago and I've still not had them back. Mind you, I haven't had my offer yet either, and I applied the same day. Slow all round.

@lejones91 thats great news congratulations! So was that working day 7 for you? My MB said this morning KR started working on ours Thursday last week and have received the valuation report today so I am hoping that's makes today working day 3 for us 🤞🤞
