    Congrats that’s great news!
  • Yes they did know that I'm furious they took the money for the survey and did the survey made me change solicitor and then declined I have the money in savings to clear the credit card which I offered to do and send the statement to say o paid but nope
The only thing I can think of is that they must have seen something on your credit card statement that they weren’t happy with :(
  • Not sure only used it for a electrical purchases and a holiday, and offered to pay the full balance off 🤷 either way the new lender is at a much better rate
  • Well hate to be a bearer of bad news but Kent reliance have refused our mortgage on The basis I have 8k on a credit card offered to pay it off in full nope not accepted, I have asked for a refund of survey cost but we will see, my broker has spoken to precise mortgages not only are they a better deal but seem to be quicker.
Sorry to hear that, but yeah sometimes things happen for a reason even though it can be really difficult! Do you mind me asking how long they took to refuse the mortgage? So annoying they dragged it all out, feels like such a waste of time!

Congratulations, that's amazing. When you say 6 weeks do you mean 6 weeks due to having to go back and fourth with additional paperwork etc, or were you in the office queue for 6 weeks?

Thanks 😊 6 weeks since submission. When valuation done and all documents seemed to process offer pretty quickly. I know it can vary a lot though. It’s so nerve wracking the wait. Good luck!

Hello, congratulations on your offer 😊 How long after when you went into the offer queue did you get the offer? 😊
  • So after an AIP we got a decline due to my husband's wages being reported weird on his wages (basic and overtime shown on payslip - he gets basic for 8 hours then time and half for the next 2.5 hours - he does nights which are 10.5 hours) we got a letter from his Employer and a letter confirming an old debt had been cleared, we have received another AIP and valuation has been instructed! Hoping to get it through this time. Our MA has been amazing - really fought for us!
