They have instructed our valuation today although still not booked..  looking back at previous posts I am worried that may take weeks for a date. Have not heard any more from the under writer so I assume everything is OK from that side.. how long did everyone else's valuation take be booked once instructed? I assume wait times may be different all over the country due to the location of surveyors. I am in Leeds

We had ours back within a week but be prepared for extra questions and asking for extra paperwork and check your solicitor is on their panel

When you say had it back in a week do you mean survey results once actually done? We haven't got a date yet just been instructed, waiting for surveyors to confirm a date. Just wondered how long it took for people to have a date confirmed? Paperwork wise the underwriter has already asked for 2 lots of extra paperwork so hoping they won't need much more. Our solicitors is on their panel I checked when we moved over from Leeds building society

We had a date within a few days and report back after 4 days, we also sent lots of paperwork off this is the 4th time of them asking hopefully this is the last lot of information they need but I'm half expecting them to ask for more

Just to update you all in case anyone ever gets an under value from surveyor always appeal as I won the appeal! Just awaiting mortgage offer now

Hi everyone, I'm so glad I found this forum and have been reading all your messages throughout! You guys put me more at ease with my situation as I am currently in the application process with KR and our application has been fully submitted last Thursday 12th Nov and now waiting to hear back on the next stage which I think is the valuation most likely as there were no further questions asked! Which I know from many of you saying that no news is good news! (I really hope so!!) Me and my boyfriend are buying SO for the first time and had a bad first experience with Leeds in the first lockdown and now tried again with KR and all seems to be going more smoothly fingers crossed! It's all this waiting thats giving me anxiety as we are in the exact same position we were in going through the application process now in the second lockdown so I hope you can understand my nerves are exploding again! 
We were roughly told by our HA that valuations probably won't take place until the first week of Dec so I'm guessing we may be receiving our offer sometime in Dec which is such a drag but hoping its worth the wait - we are just so desperate for this mortgage offer as we've been waiting for this day which feels like years! Wishing you all good luck for those in the process of receiving their offers - i think we all at least deserve good news this year!!!

That’s great news 😊 How long after your valuation did they let you know it was down valued? We had ours last week Wednesday 11/11 and we’re hoping to have an update tomorrow and hopefully in the offer queue like you 😊🤞🏼

The valuation was done on 1st October and I didn't hear back until 3rd Nov so it was a good few weeks but I think this was just due to the fact I had to go back to them with an ESW1 form which caused delays and then the down value, I think every situation is different but Kent Reliance are quite slow. Fingers crossed you will hear soon!

Hi ,

we had an update today our valuation report and last docs have all been satisfied now. We had an issue with a gift deposit as it was from our uncle so they won’t accept so we will be getting the gift from our sister instead which will hopefully resolve the issue!

Oh wow that’s a long wait. Our MB said we should have an update from the underwriter tomorrow regarding our valuation then we should hopefully have our offer by Tuesday (going by the wait times KR gave our MB) have they said you are going into the offer queue now? Thank you, good luck to you too 😊🤞🏼
