I was given a blank form to sign by my mortgage advisor- would that cause you to loose confidence? 

They’ve also not seen my payslips or bank statements before submitting the application- im not happy at all

What advisor are you with? It turned out my broker didn’t check anything either before submission so could have avoided me being declined!

That’s exactly my concern… i was awake at 3am worried.  Ive written to them this morning saying im not happy and i dont want the application submitted and i want my money back

Not sure, they may do if they can see it in your current statements, if they can’t see it, they won’t even know about it. Good luck 🤞🏼 very stressful but worth it! We are exchanging today and completing next week, so it seems so long but once you get there it is a fast process! 😃

My broker keeps saying they will need to see my additional savings and I haven’t saved enough since my last application went in! That’s great news for you 😊our new mortgage application goes in today so im keeping all my fingers crossed it’s just been so stressful!

I’ve emailed this morning saying exactly that and now she wants to talk … im fuming tbh and ive not slept so that a bad idea. 

Im not over reacting though am I ?  It sounds like they go through these statements with a fine tooth comb
