I do have zero confidence in my broker currently but I know not everyone is like that it’s just finding the right fitSuseOrm said:
I think this is the problem I’ve literally no confidence in brokers I know there are good ones out there for we got declined for a mortgage last year because one broker keyed in that I had one child and my child benefit showed that I had to and then tried to blame me for telling them that I only had one child as if I would forget that I had to I mean really. Just absolutely no responsibility or accountability if they get anything wrong. I think that’s just how the world is now though.lc2022 said:
Lol. It is the most stressful thing I’ve ever done, but if you have a good broker, you will be fine! Just keep your mind occupied! It’s hard I know, lol I cried lots and had lots of hissy fits, but here we are waiting for confirmation of exchange today! Luckily I didn’t have the stress of living somewhere else, straight from my parents, so I can’t comment on that but sounds pretty crap. Will keep my fingers crossed for you.SuseOrm said:
Thank you, youre right it is so stressy, I think it’s just made worse by the fact that I’m living in an absolute dump that I’m paying double the rent that I would be paying our mortgage for and I’m so desperate to get this house to get out of here. I think I might turn to alcohol to get me through 🤣lc2022 said:
Don’t panic too much, honestly I know it’s hard because I did and I had stuff that I thought would make me get rejected.for example, my partner had sent me money using a rude reference quite a few times, I stressed to my broker how worried I was, but it was fine. All they really want to check is your not a fraudster and you have money going in each month to pay the mortgage 😀 you will be fine! Not sure if you can change now? But the broker we used was Stephen lye from bluebell mortgages. He’s absolutely brilliant. Worth a try if you can switch!Rc0105 said:

I was just reading through all the previous comments from the summer when it seem to be taking 2 to 3 weeks to go through hopefully it’s a bit quicker now !Rc0105 said:
