On the Corona help sub-board there is someone not happy about their thread being closed as well.
Reminds me of a decade ago of a forum where the tone or direction of the discussions did not suit the owners (and advertisers no doubt)
Threads were closed, then members were banned when they re-created them, so members invented new names and continued re-creating threads.
Next stage was to close the registration server, but that meant with just about everyone banned and no new threads as there were no new members there were no more click for ad revenue
So the whole forum collapsed in a spectacular own goal.

There is no practically nowhere online where people from either side of the political spectrum can debate on politics, current affairs or news. Of course there are small websites but they're limited in numbers and easily closed through a legal complaint whether to a web host or a copyright complaint and where you can discuss on large websites because they can afford good lawyers, they tend to be echo chambers and biased toward one side of the political spectrum so you only discuss with like minded individuals and there is no disagreement. Websites are terrified of getting a lawsuit in their inbox from anything that someone said.
Someone on here once said they go on the 'dark web' to discuss thorny subjects.  Think it would be risky just accessing the DW though as it could immediately make one a Person Of Interest to the feds.

I did think that accessing the dark web would end up with that person being placed on a watch list.

Not me.  I've just discovered this  thread on site feedback and am wondering who you were, whether on the old site or having been banned - you said you'd miss all the regulars on DT.   Hmmm.

Let us all pray that the clowns have move on and let people here post questions without fear of being mocked, looked down at and attacked because of their circumstances. Good riddance is all I can say. MSE will be a better place for people to ask questions, raise concerns/alerts with less fear of being hijacked by the jokers that patrolled the forums 24/7 7x7 in order to make themselves feel batter.

500 odd posts in a month,  and you talk about "clowns" posting here 24/7 7x7 in order to make themselves feel better? I presume you do mean better and not batter :)

I hope they don't get battered :o FACT!

You know what about moderation here with your 5 posts
How incredibly naive of you to think I haven't been here for a long time. This is an AE as I don't know my old account details.

The moderation here has been awful for years. And they then turn around and claim they don't have moderators which is hilariously ignorant of them to claim.
