Btw, some people will really miss the forums as they have no other life and I'm not trying to be nasty. My wife left a a couple of years ago and I thought it would never happen to me. I have one of the adult children still livivng with me and children are supportive as I was not the one that cheated. I too actually like posting here as you can make friends and meet parasites as well but you can post your mind and then just ignore the hateful bunch unlike real life.
Like many here, I too post on friends behalf asking questions if you get my drift, lol.
I'm already on DS but rarely post there as it's full of little people little gangs. I've noted over time that even the little gangs fall out and won't back their cyber mates just like here.
Those that are reposible for the petty reporting, I just hope you get what you worked hard for....
Thanks toy MSE2 -
looks like we are ready to rock and roll... see you all over the other side later0

buglawton said:The demand for Moneysaving Arms comes simply from the fact that so many people have had more spare time at home. Usually when demand rises, eventually supply does to match, so long as there being a way of funding it. I guess that MSE wants to keep the site ad-free in contrast so cannot expand in line with lockdown usage rising.
The 'troublemakers' such as they exist, will now migrate to other boards in MSE. An example would be, I recently asked about how the MOT extension is working as the DVLA's site was confusing. I got some good advice and then disapproving-sounding comments about how can my wife not want an MOT when she must be going to the supermarket. I didn't bite. So the diversion into argument will now be happening all the more on the advice boards, IMO. Was it really such a good ideal to close the Moneysavers Arms?As they say, 'other sites are available' and in fact with the big MSE design change where you have to edit everything 3 times to format it right, and if you forget to bookmark where you posted, you lose track of your own conversations, I have already been moving to other sites much of the time. That lack of auto-bookmarking btw means MSE is losing inexperienced noobies who ask their first question then can never find it again. Rant over, pastures new...0 -

Why I decided to come back yesterday ... a vague hope that maybe now that The Arms is being refurbished, the forum as a whole will run more smoothly?0 -
