Although I occasionally use other parts of the Forum, I rarely learn anything from it anymore. 

Special Saver 2's regular savings thread was essential reading, until it was swamped by irrelevant posts.

Nor do I find the main site or the weekly newsletter useful. Good for newbies I guess.  Apart from Credit Club giving me free access to my Experian report, I think I have little use for MSE now.

Good bye fellow forumites.  I have enjoyed sparring with you all over the years.

It's not goodbye, we'll meet again, lets get our heads together and sort it, we were a good community, ok sometimes we got a bit hot under the collar (including myself  , but the regulars weren't malicious, we were just passionate in our thinking), its MSE who are the losers not us.

As I can't update the Birdcam thread, here is the latest from the Welsh Ospreycam....

...the two chicks are well camouflaged , but you can see them, and one is being fed fish by a parent. 
(The barn owl chicks on their nestcam weren't properly in shot, so I'll try for those later).

Wow! The two barn owl chicks have woken up and I've never seen them so active! They were stomping around the nest box and flapping and squawking and tribbling and there were downy feathers flying everywhere! They are starting to get their adult feathers.

Yes, I joined DS this morning but I think they have a rule of not being allowed to post for a couple of days, so I'll have a look round it. Trouble is when I put my user name in I didn't check so it's now MArisco I'll see if I can change the A later.
