I've register on DS but am waiting for approval which can take 48hrs I used same username.

I was considering DS but to be fair looking at a couple of comments on here and reading some threads over there it appears to be nothing more that a left wing echo chamber....

Just had a longer look a politics board on ds and see what you mean don't think I will be spending much time there. DT although not perfectly balanced did a reasonable cross section.

DT was a lot closer to the 'right wing echo chamber' end of the spectrum than it was to 'balance', lol!

Not sure about that I can think of many left wing poster and right wing posters and a few in middle.  Most of who managed to argue in a reasoned and articulate way but lately there has been an influx of people who have added very little to debate.

Agree on the DS site, not for me I'm afraid especially when there are so many c**p boards 
ie, reality tv !!!

I like the MSE site as a whole as other boards were interesting as well  and pretty much something for everyone.

I did find latterly @Cornucopia was getting very critical remarks especially as she was a moderator.. some just didn't respect the rules and ruined it for everyone 

Some just look for trouble

If I joined, I'd use the name I use on here. It is actually my name - in a roundabout way. 😉

I find Italian pop music quite atrocious, tbh. Now and then here there emerges a odd track can listen to, but by and large it's the same kind of musical dirge. Fai Rumore, I'm afraid, is not among those I like, but that is largely a matter of taste,

Yes, I joined DS this morning but I think they have a rule of not being allowed to post for a couple of days, so I'll have a look round it. Trouble is when I put my user name in I didn't check so it's now MArisco I'll see if I can change the A later.
