Well guys I've found a new home, its called 'Politics Forum.co.uk', explained to them what has happened here and they are surprised, as although this is a 'politics' forum by name ... it isn't, they have open forums, 'Members Bar', 'Political tearoom', 'Westminster', it is a full discussion board with many many different topics, seems a lot more laid back than MSE, although it is monitored with forum team, I have been welcomed, and feeling at home already.9

Just read their 'Westminster' room or 'Members bar' we would NEVER get away with those posts on MSE.Fairy_Cross_The_Mersey said:

Just now.....close-up of the Osprey chicks plus parent finishing off the fish....
They are so well camouflaged!
Plus you can also see the now-redundant egg that hasn't hatched.

What one is that?Quasar said:I just tried digitalspy but there is already a Quasar in there - it is NOT me, just for the record. Being quite attached to my username, I can't bring myself to either change it or even alter it slightly.
The alternative forum started my myself and other mse members a few years ago was largely ignored and now it's there waiting to be used but I doubt it will take off now.0 -
It's an old forum that has had no posts for over 2 years. As one of the admins, I am not prepared to reopen it at the moment because my life has got far busier since returning to my country and I don't have the time to keep an eye on it. The other admins have left it for good.tKim_kim said:

Are you the Quasar in The Answerbank Forum? I thought it must be you as they use the same avatar.Quasar said:I just tried digitalspy but there is already a Quasar in there - it is NOT me, just for the record. i haven't been on there for ages, though. The lack of both a thanks button and a quote function made it too clunky.(I just lurve spiders!)

Strange thing, I got into the Arms last night without being signed in, I still could not see it listed on the main index but I used a shortcut on a different browser forgetting that I had logged out on that browser and where I would normally get the login page, it went straight to the Arms.
Still can't post there though
