Well guys I've found a new home, its called 'Politics Forum.co.uk', explained to them what has happened here and they are surprised, as although this is a 'politics' forum by name ... it isn't, they have open forums, 'Members Bar', 'Political tearoom', 'Westminster', it is a full discussion board with many many different topics, seems a lot more laid back than MSE, although it is monitored with forum team, I have been welcomed, and feeling at home already.
Just read their rules. No CAPITALS and you must provide links to any newspaper articles etc that you quote.

    Have fun!
Just read their 'Westminster' room or 'Members bar' we would NEVER get away with those posts  on MSE.

I just tried digitalspy but there is already a Quasar in there - it is NOT me, just for the record. Being quite attached to my username, I can't bring myself to either change it or even alter it slightly. :(
The alternative forum started my myself and other mse members a few years ago was largely ignored and now it's there waiting to be used but I doubt it will take off  now.
    What one is that?

Are you the Quasar in The Answerbank Forum? I thought it must be you as they use the same avatar.
i haven't been on there for ages, though. The lack of both a thanks  button and a quote function made it too clunky.

Just has a look & can see why it would appeal to them.

Strange thing, I got into the Arms last night without being signed in, I still could not see it listed on the main index but I used a shortcut on a different browser forgetting that I had logged out on that browser and where I would normally get the login page, it went straight to the Arms.
Still can't post there though :(
