They are trying to wind down the support, they will not now extend the criteria for the various a schemes out there. As has been suggested many times on the (long running, repetitive and frankly tiresome) thread on the very same subject, there are multiple schemes helping the vast majority. Not everyone can be helped, not every job will be saved.Your 'campaign' is fruitless and you should focus your endeavours on how to earn income from elsewhere. People are getting second jobs, universal credits, taking advantage of payment holidays on any monthly finance etc.Your focus should be on this, rather than 'flogging a dead horse'.Rishi Sunak's response on the Marr show pretty much reiterated they will not extend the eligibility of the schemes further.2

Hi.
Due to HMRC failing to issue my return and then also my Accountant therefore failing to complete my HMRC return in January, whilst I was out of the country, I am not eligible for the government SEISS. I have been self employed for the last 8 years and have always done my returns on time before. But I have had no income for the last few months and no way of knowing when I will be able to go back. Applied to all the supermarkets and Royal mail. No luck. On anti depressents now and really struggling!3 -
Hello! I am so pleased that there is a thread now highlighting almost 3 million workers who are currently not entitled to any government support. I am being penalised (through no fault of my own) for being “newly” self employed, even though I have submitted books for 18/19 and already for 19/20. Thank you to Martin and his team for being a voice for a group of people who are currently looking at £0 income for the foreseeable future and for many since March. Thank you!3

3 million of us, not really a small gap. Let's hope they can do something for us.5

This is such an important issue.
All tax payers should be treated with parity, there are so many holes in the current schemes and almost 3 million workers are currently unable to access any or very little support.
The Government asked us to trust them, they said no one would be forgotten and that simply isn't true. All we ask is fairness!
Thank you Martin for highlighting the plight of the Excluded.

All the 3 million 'Excluded' are asking for is parity and they are tax payers (and voters !). Small businesses, sole traders, freelancers and small limited companies are the backbone of the UK's service industries and businesses and needed for the country to recover financially and start rebuilding the economy. How short sighted is it to ignore them now. They will remember this when the next round of local and general elections are due, I am sure of that.4

Zero support. Thanks for this thread and for finally giving us a voice.

People are allowed to try and obtain funds after 3 months plus of nothing (inc. No UC due to a partner working). I'm supporting them, feel free to be negative 😉 Not everyone can find a new job or magically make money appear. Support is warranted even if not currently forthcoming.4 -
Please if you are one of the 3 million excluded, don’t let the first 3 comments on this thread put you off coming to join our campaign to get parity for everybody. Nobody should be thinking they are doing this alone. The Facebook group for Excluded UK is a wonderful warm welcoming group. Its easy to say to go get another job (cant because shielded) or universal credits (couldn’t access due to money saved to pay tax and vat bill) both avenues were closed to my partner along with all of the government support schemes. 13 weeks on 20% income and potentially another 3 months on 15% and then who knows.7
