Yes I lost because it didn’t include the video of the machine not working and I didn’t put a strong enough case I didn’t find this help till late on as the ticket was 16/03/2019Coupon-mad said:Do you mean you lost at POPLA or are in the middle of POPLA?
This can be won simply by pointing out the landowner authority is likely to be in the wrong name. A clear and worked example of this is shown in POPLA Decisions, a sticky thread. Just search it for the words Britannia Services.
Forget POPLA ..... USELESS BUNCH ....... The crunch comes when the daft legal, no doubt BWLegal starts adding fake amounts. That's when ABUSE OF PROCESS comes into play
As is being said to you, you MUST discover the contract between Britannia and the landowner0 -

You have sent me a PM including the POPLA decision. On the front page of this forum, there is a thread "POPLA DECISIONS" and you post in that thread.Kezzersp1 said:

OK, but back to the case in hand (forget POPLA). Remind us what stage you are at with BW Legal:
LBC?
Claim/defence stage?
Already defended a claim and looking to write your witness statement?
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Still just letters asking for incomings and outgoings but the MP said this
Further to my previous email, we have now received a response from BW Legal.
They have spoken to Britannia, and have confirmed that they will not be cancelling the charge, and have advised that they will begin legal action if you fail to pay, and at this stage, it has not commenced, but may happen if it remains unpaid.
They have said the following on what their ‘next step’ is:
“Our primary objective in this matter continues to be our desire to work with your constituents to bring about a resolution. We would therefore ask that they contact our office to discuss affordability to make arrangement to pay or alternativley the pre-approved discount and plan is still an available option until the 30th June at which point it will expire and the full contractual balance will remain due. They can accept this offer online registering on our customer portal it is easy to accept or call and speak to our contact centre on 0113 487 0430 who will be happy to set the repayment plan for them”
I believe that payment plan would be £10 per month.
I appreciate that this is not the response you were hoping for, but I hope the response clarifies the action they are taking – you may wish to speak to them about setting up a payment plan with the discount. I will of course pass on your concerns that you mentioned previously about the car park to the relevant authorities.
Please don’t hesitate to get back in touch should you have any problems in the future.
