Friday, hooray! I’m home alone working today, it’s sort of lonely but peace and quiet is something I rarely experience 🤣 this afternoon is really exciting because I am meeting my friend for her wedding dress fitting - wow! I was sooo thrilled to be invited.
this weekend is going to be all about cleaning and tidying even though the weather is set to be amazing, we should still get out.
I need to do a kitchen audit to make a meal plan for next week

    have a good day all

I'm working alone today too. MrM is in the office and the 15yo had his first shift at a coffee van.  Lovely and quiet.

I also need to clean and tidy, also hoping to get the front lawn mowed before it gets too long again.

    Happy weekend.

I had to buy something for someone else yesterday out of their own money and it was expensive and now I have buyers remorse, my brain is being weird  :D

I managed to list some items on eb*y last night and had a bid and a load of watchers already so that’s really positive.
Going to list some more later today.
I also need to pop to the allotment to water my veg as it’s going to be super hot

It did! He really enjoyed it and has just left for today's.  He's a bit miffed at working tomorrow as his friends have planned to go to Hampton Court.😂

Aw that’s good to hear @Naomim

The first of my eb*ys ended last night and I made £45 which has gone straight into the pot for my daughters 21st birthday

Ive had some problems with UC this month my landlord has increased my rent but they won’t accept any of the evidence I have sent, so far I have sent a bank statement, text and an email receipt from my landlord with my rent increase. I need to find time to call them but I work full time and the waiting time on calls is ridiculous.

    Jobs for today:

I’m working and then I need to post the paid eb*ys, if I get time this evening I will list some more. I have 3 bean chilli and baked potato for dinner. I need to freeze leftover tagine in portions.

    have a good day all

    morning
    Its Saturday hooray!

I have a lot of chores to do this weekend but also going to visit the dads today to drop off Fathers Day cards.

I made another £50 on eb*y yesterday which has been added to my daughters birthday fund for her 21st

going to add some more items today

MBN* have closed my account on the app so quite sure it’s defaulted and passed on now, waiting for a letter to see whose going to be collecting it.

I’ve sent an email receipt to UC about my rent change and waiting for a response.

Going to do a meal plan for the week now and I’ve hidden 16 bags of crisps for the kids lunchboxes so they don’t eat them all before the end of the month

    have a good weekend all

My sister used to hide all the snacks and crisps too - usually in the lockable boot of her car. That only works in this weather if the snacks don't have chocolate in them

    Morning,

the weather is nice here today feels like it’s been raining for a week!

I havent had the best of weeks, my tumble dryer broke down when I was trying to dry the kids uniforms last week, fortunately it’s insured but it’s got burned out wiring. The repair man has stuck a big danger sign on it and cut the mains cable off so we are waiting for an electrician to come next week.

My husband has lost a set of keys that is going to cost £200 to replace, not very happy about that! It’s not a priority at the moment so going to wait until September to sort that out.

I seem to have toothache at the moment but I can’t afford to get my filling done yet so I’m going to have to live with it for now.

Today I’m popping to meet a friend we are going to a ‘pay as you feel’ cafe so I’m taking cash from my change jar, there is also a community fridge there so I may be able to collect some food. I’ve made it 3 weeks in my last grocery shop and still have loads of meals left so feeling great about that.
