Morning,
so my steak of not much luck is continuing, we are self isolating now as my eldest has COVID.Need to order a grocery shop soon as we are in for the next 10 days and need to cancel the visit from the tumble dryer repair man.
I also had to cancel a buffet I was making for a friend for some cash.
Had my default from MBN8 this morning and it was a mean one and it’s stressed me out they’ve asked for full repayment of the balance which the others didn’t do.
on the plus side 10 days of isolating will save us some money and the kids are pleased to have time off school
today I’m working, going to make a Caribbean stew for dinner and I got some plantain to fry up to have with it - love plantain!
I have some lovely fresh and ripe peaches 🍑 to snack on that I found in the local fruit shop on Saturday
I have 6 ebays to post so I don’t know what to do about them now we are isolating

You can arrange parcel collection from your door via parcelforce. It costs a bit more, but would get them gone. Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Hi there,
I've been doing a budget review today. I’m finding it hard still to balance my budget and my DMP payment. I know that the DMP doesn’t allow for birthdays which isn’t helping this month as there’s a lot. I’ve mentioned I’ve been selling on eBay to save up for my daughters present for her 21st. It’s also my sons birthday in Aug.
I’ve put aside all of my Bill money, my DMP money and paid my rent this month and I have £69 left over for living for the month that’s food, petrol, etc from my pay, I do have a payment to come from UC not sure how much this month, last month it was £150. I also owe my son £200 which i borrowed from his savings last month and car insurance is due.
I have barely any money saved for Christmas I am dreading it this year.
Food prices seem sky high at the moment I’m only doing 2 shops a month now I’m stretching things as far as I can
im really scratching my head now as a few months ago I was managing fine. I’ve been through my spend from last month and the food costs were the only difference but not so much as to affect my budget this month, feeling a bit lost.NatDMP 2021-2024: £30,668 £0 🥳

Morning, I would do a review with your dmp, your leaving yourself with far to little to survive on. The whole idea of dmp is to find a way or living and paying your debt. Yes it will be longer to pay off you dmp but at least you’ll have enough to live on.2

I agree, a review seems necessary. Also do you do surveys? £5 here and there from prolific, etc. May help a little bit.Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien
