Many thanks for starting us off Purps.
Quite a dull day here today. Hoping to get the washing dried and a birthday present deopped off to a friend before it rains.
Interesting 2 days at the doctors. I went yesterday for a small procedure. Came home for some lunch before i joined an afternoon webinar. Unexpected call from GP before the webinar started.
Fortunately i had prepped DDs old laptop ready but this laptop has a mind of its own!!. It threw me out of the webinar so had to get back in!! Over 200 people in the webinar and they kept seeing my mug as i didnt want to touch anything as laptop had really gone off on one at this point so the organisers kept having to get rid of my pic. Looking back it was funny but stressful at the time
After a couple of weeks of paperwork madness have slowed down for a few days.
-Today need to clean and steam kitchen floor
-clean bathroom
-update spends book
-drop present off at friends
Already spent the morning at the doctors again so im not doing much today
Stay safe everyone xDecluttering challenge 2023🏅⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Hi everyone,
This week I have/ will...
- Check bank and update budget/ PMP daily
- Planned July budget by guesstimating next month’s maternity pay. My pay starts to reduce drastically from now until I go back to work in November so the budget is very tight. Our long term savings are in a good place and I will have to use some each month to pay the bills. The budget needs to stay on a tight leash, it’s painful to see our savings decrease! Mr Pea is disabled so mine is the main household income
- Hoover daily (we have a pooch) and clean bathroom twice a week
- Bake some ginger nuts for Mr Pea as I keep promising to!
- Mr Pea has got into baking bread and he’s going to do a batch of wholemeal buns
- Do some surveys and get my VO balance up to £20 so I can cash out a voucher and get a new pot of moisturiser
- Picked up a click and collect order yesterday (luckily we are able to get slots where we live). I need to finish the meal plan that will take us through to our next click and collect next Thursday
- Freezer inventory updated
- Applied the dubbin I bought before Christmas to my 11 year old DM boots - they’re now as good as new and ready for the autumn
- Filed paperwork
- Done weekly Tuesday night Zoom course with Mr Pea for wellbeing
- Posted Grandma’s birthday card
- Have been persisting with DS and his baby carrier (second hand bargain) and he will now go in it for a walk without screaming. He also now wears his summer hat without screaming!
- List some baby bits and a bedside cabinet for sale. The other week we sold an office chair for £50 and used the proceeds to buy baby formula
- Daily tummy time, play and reading with DS
- Daily walk with DS and pooch
- Two friends are coming over on Saturday to socially distance in our garden (bringing their own chairs and flask of tea). DS and I will then visit another friend in her garden on Sunday
- Check in and message with other friends
- Mend a couple of dresses with holes and a blanket
- Finish tackling ironing mountain (for now!)
- 30mins to myself every day for reading/ YouTube
- Be thankful for everything we have!

Morning all 😃 I did a freezer inventory yesterday. Wow, was that enlightening! I know my last one was out of date but hasn’t realised how much 😊 made yesterday’s shopping list much shorter and easier!
today’s list:
put washing done overnight on airer
something out of freezer for tea 🙃
check banking
check CC is zero after payment made - done ✅ please to see that a recent house insurance purchase on there means I have now got £40 of vouchers for when they are sent later this month 😄
research mattresses as I want to put the vouchers ^^ towards one
more knitting
Research alternatives for coffee. It’s one of the few branded things we’re particular about. It’s out of stock from where we get our online shopping from (has been for 3 weeks). DH braved a SM yesterday for it but they didn’t have any and the other big SM in town doesn’t stock it. Looked on the rainforest people (we’ve had it from there before) but the cost is extortionate. I’m wondering if it has stopped being made 😲 Appreciate it’s a first world issue in the big scheme of things!Water remaining seedlingsHave a good day all. Purps.5
