Morning CLF and all who follow. More repetition here but keeps us in the straight and narrow:

washing done overnight to peg out, another one in. One more to go.
Some ironing. There’s something that doesn’t appear ever in my list but needs must for a few items 🤣
something out of freezer for tea
some more jigsaw that was gifted
    last bit of housework
sew on a couple of badges.
Plant out a couple of big plants.

Have a good day all. Purps.

    Morning all :)
Early morning dog walk in sunshine, but raining now. Garden needs it, but I fear for my tomatoes because the weather feels 'blighty'. Hopefully we will get away with it. I have made and potted my pink grapefruit marmalade this morning, and done the resulting washing up, but not much else so far:
Chopped up some mushrooms that needed doing something with, and reused a washed out freezer bag to freeze them in.
    Checked the banks
Pulled out some poppies from the veg patch - they seed themselves, and I allow most of them to grow, but a few had to come out because they were encroaching too much on smaller plants. They grow so quickly! I also have some gladioli coming up in unsuitable places - these were some bulbs that I put in the compost after they had flowered last year or the year before - I am not by any means a fan of pillar box red gladioli, but DD had bought them for me for Mothers' Day at some point, small GD having chosen the colour. I left some in the front garden to do their own thing, but these particular ones, which GD had planted in various odd places at the back, I pulled out and composted. But they were obviously still viable when the compost got spread around. I now seem to have them everywhere! I will let them flower then move them to a space in the front garden, and they can take their chance. Though having survived being chopped about and living a year or so in the compost, they are probably indestructible!
Other plans are to mend a pair of OH's trousers, which are ragged at the hems and lacking a button, use up some leftovers for lunch, pick whatever needs picking in the garden, water anything that needs it (will only be greenhouse seedlings and basil and maybe one of the hanging baskets) and cook a chicken for dinner later.

    Good Afternoon lovely people

Overcast but very warm here,so far

    Checked Bank & made PAD
Sorted a few bits at mums and had a chat (will speak again later)
Visited Garden centre (only bought what was on list - which was a victory in itself)
Planted above plants and made my succulent planter from old fire pit bowl - this project has been on my radar for months and thanks to Monty Don making one on Gardeners World on Friday it gave me the kick up the backside to get on with it)
    Stripped our bed, remake later
Wash above bedding & line dry

    Still to do
    Swagbucks
    Knit or read
    Purge a few emails

    Evening all,
The weather has been lovely here today so I've been out for a 3 mile walk with ds2,   a 1.25 mile walk with ds2 and OH and another mile tonight after tea.
Other then that,   we've moved a bit more furniture around to make some space,  we've washed a load and hung out on the line to dry.   Made a chicken & potato curry again as we had a big pile of spuds plus we've made a big pot of mash ready for meals later in the week.
I feel bad saying this but I'd kind of hoped for a day this weekend with bad weather as I had lots of jobs I wanted to be doing indoors really.  Ah well the bad weather will return I'm sure.

Sticking with the "Small things" thread to keep up us on the straight and narrow.
