Afternoon folks
Sorry I haven't caught up yet with the thread. I'm finding it a bit tricky to keep up on the work days.
Working from home today for 2 reasons. Firstly because I just had reading to do and no one was in the office, so I may as well save the petrol. Secondly, the tickly cough that has been coming and going since April flared again and made a few of my colleagues a bit twitchy so it was off to the covid testing site this morning! My nose feels violated. I don't think I have covd (although you never know). It's a bit like your period being late, and feeling compelled to do a pregancy test, even though you know you're highly unlikely to be pregnant.

Apologies I have been awol from this thread, although not the site which is a good thing. I committed to myself that this time round I will pop in everyday to keep myself on the straight and narrow....
Today was an all day meeting but did manage to check bank, update budget and snowball. Painful adding the interest charges! A treat today, DD made my lunch and cleaned the whole kitchen without me saying a word...
An early night tonight as really tired. Tomorrow jobs will be
Check bank and update budget
B/L/D from stores.
10 minute tidy in living room
Freezer inventory & meal plan
Shopping list
Check emails and purge nonsense
Check PA for surveys. I had a couple earlier this week so made about £2. £15 in the kitty. Aiming for £20 before I withdraw.

Evening everyone,
Today I have cancelled my holidayand insurance, completed a few small surveys so managed to cash out my £5 to pay off the CC, also paid off another £17.50 from a top I returned. Tea tonight is stew which I’m looking forward to as it’s been horrible here all day! I plan to have a good route in the cupboards/ff tonight and do my meal plan/shopping list for tomorrow. I’ve got a long day at work tomorrow as I’m interviewing a lot of the day which is horrible via Zoom and I also need to travel to our other office (1.5 hr round trip) so will take leftovers with me
I plan to have a long soak in the bath after tea as I’ve got a headache again and hopefully get a little uni work done tonight as I’m quickly running out of time.

Evening all@carrielovesfanta I hope your test comes back promptly and negative! Not much done yesterday or today to be honest - did loads early in the week and then kind of crashed a bit
Blaming health condition rather than old age - as there are people a generation older than me who run marathons! Anyway, I did:
Usual early dog walk, don't know how far our route is, but must be around 1.5 miles.Home grown strawberries with cereal this morningPinecone survey, and cashed out accumulated reward money, £15 of Ama*on vouchersAnother £5 voucher from Ipsos, but used that to buy some more reusable bag clips as my collection is dwindlingClaimed £37.30 from Quidco, also in Ama*on vouchers as they gave 2% more than if I claimed cash. Useful for presents, especially as I can't physically go to shops atm.So, even though I have been lazy at least it has been fairly profitable!Spent most of the afternoon putting a large, heavy item in and out of the front door between rain showers for collection by a freecycler who didn't turn up at the arranged time and hasn't been in touchHome grown potatoes and broad beans with fish from the freezer for dinnerHad some decent rain today so no watering neededDid a storecupboard order for Iceland, which will come tomorrow.5 -

Morning all 😃
DH got his MOT done a couple of weeks ago. He rang on the off chance and they offered him
a slot the following day (rather than just drop off first thing with everyone else) he said only 2 workers about doing the social distancing thing. They called him a hour later to say it was done (he went for a bike ride). They are a small business and we were pleased we could support them. I’m sure it’ll be much more to get in to them when things are lifted as they are a small operation who are usually busy.Up an about early have done some useful
jobs already:
unsubscribed from some e mails
sent an e mail to a company about coming off a register I’m on
researched a money bond, including available cash back
check my 2 cashback sites. Will stop using one when I’ve had the last 2 payouts. Seem to be waiting forever!Ordered 3 small gifts from UK based businesses on et$y. Pleased to get them all for under £20 including delivery. Money will come from gift pot.Check bankingStill to do:
ask DH to get previous employer to e mail him last wage slip so I can finalise his tax return. All other items entered.Delivery away, will double check meal plan after that and veg box has arrived.Something out of freezer for tea (only fresh and tinned stuff on order)Look at birthdays coming up and see what I need to research for so Im organised
some homeschooling with smalls
small wash on if stuff on airer has dried
KnitHave a good day all. Purps.3
