Well done to all Flyers
Well done to all who have rested
Exciting times, Jazee!
Glad the cat is content, Kazw. You sound very organised! Hope your purchase goes through soon.
I have had a mixed end to the week:
Good:
- I had a physio consultation by video on Friday morningand have to take more !bupr0fen than I was having; use an ice pack 3x daily, do exercises 3x daily, and generally use my right arm as little as possible until the swelling goes down - so flying and gardening will be limited this coming week
- Yesterday I did WMx2and...
- ...DH bought me a bunch of flowers
- I had a nice chat with DS2 this afternoon
- Rosie has been very good, enjoying her walks each day and avoiding anything smelly
- I cooked a tasty roast tonight
Not so good:
- I spent most of the week in my study, working on a video which was to be premiered at 3:30 this afternoon. The plan was to write the storyboard and script, film on my iPhone, edit on my Windows PC, and upload to YewTewbe. All was OK up to the end of filming (except that I look extremely haggard), then all h*ll let loose. Even though I had filmed in very short sections , the files were so big that I couldn't send them to myself by email: they were blocking up my Outbox. The phone refused point blank to talk directly to the PC until this morning, but just as I was beginning to think things were improving, the battery in my mouse died. Then the editing program shut down completely because of an unidentified error. Our Internet service has been carp every day, and I couldn't get on any help pages, let along sign up to YewTewbe. At midday I gave up, sent out an email of apology, ate lunch and went to sleep all afternoon.
After all that, I'm amazed that this evening's roast dinner turned out so well.
See you on the new thread xx9 -
Total lack of energy today. I have a 6 box trofact unit.. I have sorted those out and vacuumed around it and that is pretty much it.. I just can not do more.. I am drained.. not tired just sucked the life out of me.
I used the money from my ebay sales to buy the new bathroom sink.. the crack is getting bigger so I can't just leave it.. and I got a mixer tap which almost but not quite matches the bath taps.
I have filled a binbag of rubbish, done 3 loads of washing which is dried and mostly folded. I put away the girls clothes from my room.. I really need to tidy my room.
I'm in so much pain with my hip.. but the coughing seems to have got so much better I think I might be ok taking the meds.
this evening I am knitting and not much else.. I really wanted to get the hallway emulsioned today but I simply don't have the energy. I need a magic wand! This pain is exhausting.
