Skinty - if your dustpan is plastic a layer of wax/polish helps future dirt slide off;)
Item posted (ebay sale woot & fling). Very heartened when I logged into Paypal and looked at my balance - 3 figure (but one of them is 1 lol) amount should be in my bank now. That'll pay for the dishwasher - at least partly.
3 washloads on the line and I can see a bit of blue sky. Yesterday's iroing stuck on front of window to air off. Bed turned down to air - all beds were changed yesterday so the washbasket is still full.
Upstairs got vacuumed yesterday and I managed to sort out an issue to put in a claim through Quidco.

I'm washed and dressed. Recycling is out and birds are fed. I've sorted the washing in to loads and first load is now swishing. It's very humid here - bleugh.
Dad came and swapped books - he says he's not shaking today but he aches all over. I've never seen his hair so long - that's where I get the wavy hair from!
Postman has brought me a cheque refunding the tax on Pip. I've counted up the currency on the worktop and put the euros in a bag in the miscellaneous drawer, told DS he has over £20 of levs so he should think about changing them into proper dosh, and 490 forints which is £1.27 apparently.
How did it get to be ten to one?

I drove over to meet DD and her husband and we had a socially distanced dog walk for an hour along part of the Wolds Way. It's a beautiful day and it was nice to see people out and about and we had a chat with some friends I'd not seen since last year.
Since returning home I've eaten cake for lunch, put the rubbish and recycling out and fed the birds.Spend less now, work less later.10 -
I've crawled out of bed, parcelled and ebay parcel, photographed a small pile to list.. sanded and wiped hallway paintwork and just edging in the new emulsion.. Then slopping another gloss layer and then the second coat of emulsion.. Ilove the new colour.. bonus!! I hated it the first time it was painted and called a hasty lunchbreak so I could go buy new paint lol.. this is good so far!! Dot in complaining I am not papering..
WM done .. need to arrange a repair on the new one.. it has a leak apparently.
OH cleaned cat pen and is power washing the paving.. it's a nasty job.
Off to dangle wet laundry and stick another load in.
I coughed until I was sick this morning and I think it may have been a rodent of some nature but I feel so much better.. My hip is agony but my lungs feel so much clearer and I am wheezing much less.

Morning xx
What a difference a day makesI didn't come out of my lethargy until mid-afternoon yesterday - but I did get two WM loads dry outside, so it wasn't a total waste of a day. Oh and I removed the last of the limescale and stains from the loo - I keep lifting the lid and smiling at my shining porcelain (or whatever it's made of). How sad am I???
Awake at 5.15 this morning, up at 6, made the bed, WM swishing, and leisurely first brew supped.
Round 1 =
breakfast
get washed and dressed
feed the birds
put out the recycling
WUDUPA a bowl of pots
peg out washing
Hope you are all having sweet dreams.
