We had our escalated too last week and was meant to complete on 22nd, we was told Monday we was in the pre offer stage, they asked for one more document last night even though we was told we would get an offer today, I’m thinking it won’t be till next week now.

My broker deals with this lender a lot and he told me if ubhave have applied more than 2 months ago  just send updated bank statements and payslips and any letter explaining issues on your credit report  that way when they get to your file they are less likely to ask for further information as they have it at hand so time is not wasted .

They asked for pay slips, letter from employer and bank statements. We supplied these last Thursday and was told they now have everything they need. Pre offer on Monday. Supposed to hear something today... nothing yet.

Came back to us today they’ve offered us a few grand less so we have appealed as our mortgage broker doesn’t agree on the criteria they have used. Should hear something soon. Nightmare

I'm coming to the end of a two-year fix with Vida. When I called today to see what retention rates they have I was told that they're not offering any new products to existing customers so the option is to stay and go oh to their SVR which is a punishing 6.4% or look elsewhere!

Just to let you all know we have exchanged and completed today and are moving into our home. To everyone still waiting, it’s such a gruelling process. It took us from 25th September to offer finally on 8th Jan. Luckily Vida are quite quick at transfer the monies once it comes to it. Wishing everyone the best of luck 💗

Congratulations  thas great news.we just paid our deposit this morning.
