Well our appeal was apparently successful (broker just called after Vida rang them at 5pm tonight) after getting the business development manager involved. Should have offer tomorrow according to the broker. 13 weeks of hell.

This change of circumstances form I can see people talking about - when does it come ? Is it at the same time as the mortgage offer comes in the post?

That's great news..did u go with aldermore. At least u didnt have to wait so many weeks 
We still havnt heard anything from vida

Yes we did go with Aldermore. They weren’t available to us when we submitted Vida application but then started offering help to buy products in December so we were able to apply with them. 

I hope you hear back soon! It has been so stressful so I can definitely appreciate how awful it is sitting and waiting for so long!

Hi everyone, we escalated last week. Were told we’d hear something yesterday, then told we’d hear something today. Our MB says we reached the “final approval” stage at 5.30pm...Does anyone know what this means. Sod’s law we’re left hanging for the weekend 😩.

It is included in the paperwork which is sent to your solicitor. It’s your solicitors responsibility to return it to Vida. Vida won’t send it in your copy unfortunately. I made sure my solicitor sent it out straight away as didn’t want any delays x

How long after hearing this did it take to receive your offer?
