My case got escalated because of the length of time it's been ongoing and because of the unique terms. I'm in the middle of divorce and the house myself and our children live in is the marital home which is solely in my ex husband's name. He wants the capital out the house so he can move on, which is fair enough but he's also gone ahead and put a deposit on a new build with his new partner and they're now under pressure to sign missives. I've applied for this mortgage as a single parent on one income. I don't expect any special circumstances cos I'm not unique. I just want to be able to own this house for my kids sake and be financially free from someone I don't like0

Also my partner travels with work and will be abroad all of March and into April, so if we don’t complete by the end of February logistically it’s going to be a nightmare. We need to escalate but our MB is not pushing it? How do we get an escalation? Our application has been in 14 weeks now 😞0
