Our MA is going to try with another lender. Has to have a quick turn around though as our developer is not going to keep waiting! The house was ready early November. Who is your lender?Sophielucia22 said:
Sorry to hear that! Totally get your frustration, we was declined in December after waiting 2 months. Have you got any other options? We currently have an application in with another lender nowAmy32 said:We have had the unfortunate news today that they declined our application! After 12 weeks it’s a bloody joke. They said its because my husband had been furloughed last year (has been back since early November which was their criteria) and that means his job could be at risk in the future?! So frustrating. And why did it take them 12 weeks to decide that. Why say you will lend to furloughed applicants and give you forms to fill out showing you are back to work etc if you just get declined at the end of it!0 -

We are trying with Aldermore now, got our valuation booked in for 13th Jan so fingers crossed this goes more smoothly!Amy32 said:

Oh I’m so sorry 😞 this is the thing I don’t get when I read reviews on trust pilot! Why are they taking so long to make decisions that are essentially cut and dry and why are they taking the application in the first place if that’s their standing on furloughed applicants? Is it worth appealing? We’ve still not heard anything, I don’t even think our case has been looked at!Amy32 said:We have had the unfortunate news today that they declined our application! I'm soo sorry to hear that. I know I dont understand why their are taking soo long to make a decision and keep customers waiting. We havnt heard anything at all today. Just a call from estate agent who wasnt to happy as we still havnt received a offer as the valuation was done over 6 weeks ago. Got the broker to inform estate agents of the situation. I'm going to loose my mind I thinkAmy32 said:We have had the unfortunate news today that they declined our application! After 12 weeks it’s a bloody joke. That’s the same as who our MA is using for us now! Their SLAs are low. When did you apply?Sophielucia22 said:

I don’t know if this helps anyone but we were declined and we appealed. The appeal process is ridiculously long winded though. I kind of wish I’d just gone with another lender at that stage though. It’s not fair that they keep moving the goal posts constantly.0

We applied 5th December, our survey is booked in for 13th Jan so nothing we can do until then. Annoyingly we already paid for a survey but apparently Aldermore require their own survey to be done!Amy32 said:

So with this lockdown what does it for our pending applications with Vida.0

Hmm yes I was thinking the same hopefully the lockdown doesn't affect the application as when it was the second lockdown I believe there were still open but quite slowMiraclehome2020 said:So with this lockdown what does it for our pending applications with Vida.0 -
