No. Our mortgage advisor said today we should hear something but doesn’t look like it now as it’s 5.AJ1907 said:Apparently Vida are shut from 23rd Dec to 4th of January, despite their website saying otherwise. I assume there have been no new offers on the forum?0 -

It seems like those who applied in October (including myself) are still waiting. And with the underwriters on a break after today till Jan 4th, I assume you may not receive a decision till sometime in January.Ismaimran said:Hi sorry to interrupt in a middle of the feed...but just needed some advice. We have a full application going through since start of November..valuation took place 27th November. We only heard back on monday about the valuation Monday 20th December. Just on edge at the moment with this all as we got rejected from high street lender and vida was our last hope. We put in offer in September so its been a while we had 10 weeks to complete but due to mortgage and lockdown delays it's gone way over the 10 weeks. We paid a reservation fee of £1000 so the house would be listed as sold as the house was very popular. We will loose the money if we dont end up buying the house. Sellers are pushing for the sale etc...and our solicitor are on hold until the offer is not made. My husbands credit history is very good and mines not soo good due to stupidity when younger lol however did tell the mortgage broker about this before getting a DIP. I belive the broker is using a packager for the service etc.
Just on edge at the moment like a few of you on here. Would love some advice from anyone.0 -

I think I’ve seen a review from you on trustpilot possibly? Our application was submitted in October. We are still waiting to be underwritten and so I think you’ll have a little wait still if yours went in in November. Apparently Vida were taking about 50 applications per day in October/November before they closed their doors which is why they are so behind, each submission date they’re working too is taking 3-4 working days to get through. Although they are expecting to speed up (apparently) as they work through the pipeline. But I expect you’ve possibly got a few weeks until you get to underwriting stage...sorry! Try not to panic though because Vida take all kinds of bad credit...as long as you meet their criteria and your affordability is good you should be OK 👌🏻0 -

Hopefully you hear back soon. We submitted our application early October and haven’t heard back yet, so I guess it depends when in November you submitted.Ismaimran said:Hi sorry to interrupt in a middle of the feed...but just needed some advice.
